"A Second Home Where Memories Blossom Every Summer" My family and I have had the privilege of spending the last eight summers at Porto Platanias Beach Resort & Spa, and I can honestly say it has become so much more than just a vacation spot—it’s our second home

Few axes of improvement: - Room cleaning can be better (the dishes brought in the room should be removed, cocktails for exemples) - No allergens indications at the restaurants!! This is actually a very important point of improvement

Since not everything is perfect, towards the end of our stay, the room next door got occupied and I could hear them being intimate, so thin the walls are! The cleaning lady filled the shower gel container with water, and did not refill the lotion

Great stay at the Minoa Palace. The hotel facilities are great and never felt over crowded, although the hotel was fully booked. The swimming pools and the beach are perfect. Spa is really nice, a bit expensive

The food choices are amazing, a massive buffet both at breakfast & dinner, although dinner varies every evening, according to themes (Greek, Grill, Italian. Room, bed and bedlinen were very comfortable

The spa pool & jacuzzi waters are kept so cold, it's impossible to get in. And they should upgrade their gym, which is not compatible to a 5-star hotel (extremely old/bad equipment)

We also used the tennis court and also had a coaching session which we very much enjoyed! The breakfast was nice with Greek and other foods, something there for everyone! I can definitely recommend this place for your vacation

Also, there are a lot of activities for kids - kids club, including some activities for while family, playground, playroom, etc. So really recommended for families

Minus the hotel on the west side of the airport on the east -3. 4 hours on the road with a stop at other hotels, tiring. Visit the monastery, buy oil and wine

Everything was really really good. Food is great, always a good choice, maybe not that big choice like in Egypt/Turkey hotels, but the quality is much better

it was a really good and relaxing stay. The hotel is located in a nice place, low and nice buildings with a lot of pools and access to the beach and sea

Choice of drinks in all-inclusive package is not so big, but I'd say it's enough. Pools are clean and water is warm

We got the room at the lowest ground which was a bit dark but travelling with a toddler was very handy as we weren’t woken up at the sunrise 😅 and the bushes around the balcony (we complained about them at first) turned out to be very handy at evenings when we sat there during heavy wind

The main point - food was absolutely amazing! There was nothing we didn’t like and we are picky eaters. Loads of choices from meat, fish, veggie, and seasoned perfectly. The local corner was our favourite

We still could enjoy the quiet evening there without freezing. Rooms are fully equipped with toaster, coffee maker fridge freezer and table for 4 ppl. Room was cleaned every day with fresh towels

When the guy that was cutting the grass noticed that my child wasn’t comfortable with the noise stopped immediately and let us pass without stressing the child

Starting from reception, everyone was very friendly and helpful. We were offered to leave baggage’s at the reception and stuff will take them to the room

Even all teddies in the cot were placed nicely. The area around the hotel was very clean and neat

The owner is very kind and gave us a helpful advice regarding the area and places to see during our day. I would recommend this place to anyone, looking for peaceful vacation in Greece

We have been in Oscar Suites for a week. The location is super nice and the apartments are also very good. It's nice they have two pools and a fitness. The employees are very very nice and helpful

The hotel located in the very nice area, the beach is just across the street and there are a lot of great restaurants around

If you needed anything they were there happy to assist. made such a fuss over our little girl that she wants to move to Greece now, very family welcoming

The room was well-maintained, renovated, with a mini fridge. It is worth noting that on Sundays the staff does not clean the rooms, but this was not a problem for us

Regular cleaning and functioning AC. What makes me lower my rating was the bitter attitude from the staff and the route you had to take to get to the restaurant/beach

We were here 10.2021. Room was fine, I liked general arrangement of hotel, where rooms are modelled as small houses. Pool bar was awesome, same for food included in all inclusive. The best vacation so far :)

Big and comfy bed, massive wardrobe, living room with 2 big sofas, TV with plenty of channels, mini kitchen (which we did not use much cause we had all-inclusive). Big balcony with table and chairs, and a big bathroom

A family run, well oiled machine. Great food and service ian all their facilities. The staff are profficien in english, some in german, norwegian, spanisk and italian. A quiet, beautifil resort worth a try :P

Area very safe and secure, happy to walk around even late at night. Lots of excellent restaurants and shops very nearby, within easy walking distance. Little 'train trips' very worth doing

Hotel apt was clean and comfortable and staff is alwas nice and ready to help. Be aware the beach is not for children , it is really deep right after you step in the water

The beach is the gravel type!!! We had to travel 8 km towards Chania everyday where is sandy beach and calm water!!!

In summary, we had a taste of Greek hospitality where the communication is like talking to distant family members. The location is 10 mins away from Chania with a car, 15 with a bus and 35 by walking

Surrounded by olives, bougainvillea and other lovely Cretean trees and plants. Located just a 5 minutes walk to the sea and adjacent to the the best restaurant in Chania, the Sterna

We personally walked everytime because we enjoyed the waterfront path just make sure you either have a good phone battery for the flashlight or get yourself a headlamp. The bus stop is very close (5min walk)

The beaches nearby were probably the best we saw near Chania and there are several good taverns. The pool was big enough and there's plenty of sunbeds around. The garden is massive and very well maintained

We didn't use it as we always prefer the beach, that's a personal choice. We were treated very well by the staff and it was nice and quiet. We were satisfied with the price and what we got for it aswell

Many other reviews state they had issues with the AC but we personally did not experience such a problem but also did not use it too much. We also didn't rely on the WiFi. They clean the rooms everyday

Perfect location at the beach with super nice pool! We stayed at Blue Dome for 14 days. Had the pleasure of staying in one of the newly renovated rooms. The design of the apartment was beautiful and tasteful

Nice hotel, excellent placed by the sea. Only missed aircon in the gym, otherwise everything was perfectly fittet for a couples vacation, or a family trip with older children as well

Beverage is expensive but in my opinion you pay for the view and the location. It is the best location in Platanias!

Very fine little condo for a family of 4. There is a small balkony with dry hanger and good amount of electric sockets. There was room cleaning service eberyday with new bedsheets

Nice room, felt safe. The cellar apartment was large and cool. No extra dishes, and no soap to make the dishes. But our maid cleaned our dishes for us.

- Only have access to 1 copy of key, so if you forget the keys you have to look for the owner, who mostly is not at the reception. - Toiletss don't lock, my friend child was locked in for 2 hours

- 1 very friendly cleaner called " Maria", she could make anyone smile, gentile and careful. - Cons: - Rooms not astonishing as it looks, rusted beds. - Poor ventilation working on and off

The hotel isn't too far from the centre, if you want you can catch a bus back and forth. I really enjoy the locals as well. Greece is really great for a holiday

The location is good with the main road being between 5-10 minutes walk away with the beach just on the other side of the road

The pool area is good, many sunbeds. Mostly families with children living here. The hotel is located about 500 meters from the main road where most restaurants and stores are located

I have to clean my foot before going to bed. I don't know what the cleaning was there. The boss was not very interested if there happens something,like fridge broken. What I liked was the sea ,so close and pool was fine

Not too expensive. Breakfast food is just ok, floor of the rooms were quite dirty. No WiFi in the room, even though we paid for it. All in all ok for the price, but I would not come back again.
