Excellent service from Nikos at the beach bar, always had a smile and checking if things were ok. Spent everyday at the beach and paying for sunbeds is ok, then they are ours all day

"A Second Home Where Memories Blossom Every Summer" My family and I have had the privilege of spending the last eight summers at Porto Platanias Beach Resort & Spa, and I can honestly say it has become so much more than just a vacation spot—it’s our second home

Since not everything is perfect, towards the end of our stay, the room next door got occupied and I could hear them being intimate, so thin the walls are! The cleaning lady filled the shower gel container with water, and did not refill the lotion

The resort grounds are very beautiful! The beach area is nicely kept, from there you can see breathtaking sunrises & sunsets

There are plenty of beach chairs available, and you can have a fresh beach towel every day, if you wish. You can get served with food/beverages the entire time the beach area is "open"

The breakfast was good but I was told I could not take my coffee out from the breakfast area - whatever we had had to be consumed there. Bearing in mind the pool can literally be 5 steps away from the breakfast area

When we checked out however the receptionist only asked for me to pay thr €10 tax ( no problem) and did nothing else. Noticeably not asking if we had enjoyed our stay etc etc

I think this may be to dissuade any guests taking the inclusive breakfast foods outside of the restaurant - I don't know - but not very 5* to have such ridiculous rules

Everything is on site making it perfect for those who are willing just to chill: there's a shop, a pool, sauna and SPA

Amazing hotel for families. The new rooms look great. Stayed in a 3-room apt. Very spacious and huge balcony. We’re definitely coming back. Playground is pretty cool and was a favourite amongst our kids.

The food was delicious, our room was very clean, a very spacious bathroom, comfortable and quiet. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. Would recommend Sirios Village to anyone!

Dishes at the restaurant are diverse, with cuisines from all over the world, and they are all delicious. The hotel is not too crowded, which I liked very much

Not enough storage in the room, nowhere to put luggage. TV was too small and should be on the wall out of the way. Aircon did not cool the room, had to keep putting turbo mode on because it kept turning itself off

Shower curtain was hooked to metal rods that swung from side to side, weird, so when having a shower the whole room flooded. Could hardly get past the toilet because the sink surround was in the way

Wonderful, in every way! Close to the beach, Clean sandy beach and sea. The pool area is also nice and clean. Fits for couples and families, for anyone actually. The room were big enough and the bed was very comfortable

Martin from the animation/entertainment team was great! We all really enjoyed the daily darts game! Theodora (training captain) in the buffet restaurant was amazing, my 10 month old daughter absolutely loved her

Even outside the resort the local businesses were so friendly and not pushy for sales, in fact they gave us free drinks and gifts for our children! Can not recommend this resort and the area enough!

Nice hotel in Platanias, very close to the beach. The restaurant is next to the beach, you can also overlook the Playground for the kids. There is a great "greek night" with dinner and show once a week

Cons: The beds are a bit to hard for me, as I could feel the springs into my skinny back

Drinks in the hotel bar are way overpriced paid 8€ for a cocktail that was served in a juice cup and was less than half full! In saying that accommodation is adequate, location is good as it's close to everything and bus service to Chania is brilliant at 2

Of the 10 nights we only had dinner twice in the hotel as the food was not of a good standard, this added extra costs to our holiday as we had to pay for dinner elsewhere

Nice restaurant in the resort, perfect beach with soft sand, cleaned every morning, spectacular breakfast, everything extremely clean, comfy rooms, and the most relaxing architecture

All details of this place have been thoroughly made to match the natural setting. Perfect view from the rooms, good massage at the spa, and outdoors and indoors gym open 24 hours, just enough for basic exercise

The accommodation was spotless. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Stelios and his sidekick at the bar were both really funny and welcoming made us feel really at ease

The rooms weren't massive, but they were clean and felt private. We weren't disturbed at all during the night like in some hotels as our room was a detached villa with only one room below

The beach is the gravel type!!! We had to travel 8 km towards Chania everyday where is sandy beach and calm water!!!

This is our 5th visit. Family run. Near but not on beach. Good well maintained pool. Restaurants nearby. Good buffet breakfast. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds, air con, free WiFi. Bus stop across road for Chania town.

Very nice hotel! It's like a thirty second walk to the beach. If you don't like the swimming in the sea, there is also a very nice pool at the hotel. Water is a bit cold but very nice on hot days

Like 50 meters from the hotel is a busstop wich will bring you to Chania Centre in like 20 minutes. The only downside I could find for the hotel was that the mattresses were a bit hard

The bus station is also a few metres away from the hotel and you can just take the city bus from there and go to the centre within 20-25 minutes. For me this hotel is an absolute 10

The beach is not more than 60 metres away from the hotel so you can go to the beach each and every moment when you want to

Ive never been in a place that took care of me and my Bf like this ! The staff is amazing every single one of them ! the reseption , in the bar\pool , kitchen. everyone ! they helped us with every little thing

We spent four days in the hotel at the end of the season. Accomodations ware great, food is good and the stuff gave us a home like fealing. We rented the big room with jacuzzi and it was great

From the lady that checked us in and helped me with the birthday cake for my husband, the entire front desk , the breakfast team (I think the manager name is Nikólaos), the pool staff the Spa ladies really really did above and beyond in every aspect (I'm really sorry that I don't remember more names )!! The house keeping was top notch, out room was always spotlessly clean

The bed not too comfortable and the shower is quite weak and their old water tank still gives hot and cold water cycles. So your shower will constantly turn hot and cold which is pretty annoying

The cocktails in the pool were superb and we enjoyed them almost daily :) Now coming to the cherry on top, the staff in the hotel (wow!!!!) it made our stay !! Coming from the hospitality industry myself I sometimes tent to overlook things naturally, but I really have nothing simply nothing to improve here

We stayed there for our honeymoon for 7 days, and it was INCREDIBLE! Beautiful resort with everything you need, friendly staff, delicious delicious food! We booked the Executive Suite, it is two stories with a hot tub and a big balcony overlooking the pool and sea

The apartment was clean and neat, and the location is quite convenient. The underground parking is a definite plus. However, there are some minor details that, if improved, would significantly enhance the experience

Hilarious !!! The stairs does not consider user safety as well. The stairs are made up of finished granite (which looks nice) but in rains it can get wet and slippery. the parking area is weird and narrow

Not the most luxurious hotel, but the location and price is hard to beat. The rooms are fine, the staff very friendly and the breakfast adequate. So for a basic hotel this is the perfect choice

Air con works fine and a small fridge. Nice big mirrors and nice toilet/bathroom. The service is quite okay and they speak good English and are very polite. Breakfast is good with nice choices

Very nice location with the hotel AT the beach. You are at the pool and you can hear the ocean. The double rooms are nice and good size. Could maybe use an extra shelve, but it is very cozy

Very nice pool with a deep end (2,5+ meters). The water isn't full of chemicals and they have a good amount of sunbeds. We had no trouble getting one even at noon

Soft drinks are to the expensive side (2,10 euro for a 250ml pepsi), but at least it is very cold

It also serves food like good pizzas and giros plates and offers room service. The beach is a 5 min walk (you can choose from 4 beaches in Agii Apostoli, one of which is with shallow waters and great for kids

But I think the sport massage in finland suits me better than their herbal relaxing massage. Plus point that there's a fulfilling breakfast. Everything in Crete tastes way better

We went there last summer 5 months ago with two toddlers aged 1 and 2. The hotel makes it breezy and relaxing. Different rooms so that the other kid can occupy during nap time

Great place for a self catered vacation. Studios are spacious and have a bedroom and a separate kitchen/dining area with a sofa, and we also got an extra bed for the kid here

Red flags on the beach due to winds which can be a problem in Crete are rare here, so I recommend it for families with small children) and Chania old town is 4km away

Nice pool area, with separate kids pool, but could use more greenery around it. There is a cafe bar next to the pool ran by Jorgos (a great guy and very helpful)

The location is great, you have a walking distance to everything you need (beach, supermarkets, restaurants, shops) Big and nice rooms with great balconys, the room had everything you need and were always very clean! I have a 1-year old and they put a very good bed/crib for my son in the room

The food and drinks in the bar was really good, especially the food (The beef stifado was 5/5!) There is nothing to complain about, I will definitly go back here and I already miss the staff and the hotel❤️ Thank you for this amazing week!

Me and a group of 17 people (5 kids) stayed here for a week. The staff and the family that owns this hotel were so friendly and so kind! We felt so welcome and at home

Really good food. The best I have tasted in Greece so far. They use mostly fresh ingriedients. If you are staying here you should try out the restaurant.

it was VERY hot in the room, but AC is available at 7. 5Euro extra cost pr day, we did that, and it was a life saver,
