Very friendly staff and facility located in a scenic area overlooking the bay of Agia Pelagia.
Family room with kitchenette very cosy but with some details that could be improved.
Fabulous outdoor area and pool. Wonderful sweet/savoury breakfast buffet, from a superior hotel.

Great hotel! The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, it is very quiet, it's intimate because of the small number of rooms, the view is Splendid, and the swimming pool is so pleasant.
There is a huge parking and there are plenty if excellent tavernas nearby. I would come back without any hesitation.

We stayed at Pela Mare for 10 nights, and it truly felt like home—we didn’t want to leave. The hotel is beautifully situated on a hill, offering a stunning view of the coast in Agia Pelagia. Our room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including plenty of storage for our belongings. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the shower was spacious as well. The view from our room was spectacular—we enjoyed our morning coffee on the balcony, watching the sunrise.

The hotel grounds are well-maintained, and the pool area is never crowded, with plenty of sunbeds always available. We particularly loved the breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant, especially the homemade and local products. The nearest beach is about a 15-minute walk away.

What truly sets Pela Mare apart is its staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. They greet you every day with a warm smile and go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need.

Staying at Pela Mare was a pleasure, and it provided everything we were looking for in our dream vacation.

We enjoyed 10 days of delightful hospitality at Pela Mare, a small boutique hotel in Agia Palagia. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel is stunningly located overlooking two small bays with beaches and local fish restaurants, to which there is a 20-minute walk. The pool and surrounding area is a good size, with a bar adjacent. Wi-Fi was excellent. We occupied the 1-bed suite, which is slightly separate from the rest of the rooms, offering a greater degree of privacy and a large terrace overlooking the bays. We found the room rates in October very reasonable. Good value and highly recommended.

A wonderful spot with superb views of Agia Pelagia bay. The rooms always clean and the staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious located conveniently near the bar and pool. Overall, a real gem of a place.

We have had a really lovely time here in Crete the Pela Mare staff have been fantastic. The reception staff are friendly, informative and welcoming. The housekeeping staff are friendly, polite and accommodating. The staff for breakfast (Maria) and Kostas in the evening bar is the best. He makes a mean cocktail and is super friendly. The pool is lovely and well kept. Due to it being a small hotel it’s never too busy or over crowded. We didn’t have to put out towels to make our territory (neither did anyone else).

Our family were made to feel so welcome. We are booking our next stay as soon as we get back.

Fantastic stay with beautiful view, a bit higher up so daily a wonderful breeze and never too hot! Very friendly staff! Highly recommended!!
