The hotel has 180 rooms.

Beach: own sandy beach, 100 m from the hotel (1st coastal line). Sun beds, umbrellas - for a fee. The length of the beach 200 m.

Great Stay, I recently stayed at this hotel for six days and had an excellent experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming and always willing to help, ensuring I had everything I needed. The room was clean, spacious, and had a stunning view of the surroundings. I particularly enjoyed the amenities, such as the pool and on-site dining options, which added to the relaxing atmosphere. The hotel's location was perfect, allowing easy access to local attractions and the beach. Overall, a wonderful stay—highly recommend!

We were very satisfied with our stay. It was amazing for 4*, rooms were nice and cleaned every day, drinks strong and food delicious, we could not decide what to try out first. We had at least some seafood for every meal. Staff was super nice, manager was interested in our opinion and comfort. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.👌🏻

Everything was perfect, a lot of food, always fresh and well prepared. The staff was kind and helpful. The locality was good, the town of Malia is approximately 25 mins walking. Nice and clean rooms. The director is looking after the whole hotel and asks the guests whether they’re happy, it seems like he cares about the hotel. He has given us a bottle of wine as gift. I definitely recommend this place!!

Don’t select this hotel!
1) We paid for a superior room as there were three adults, but they gave us a double room with a fold-out bed because "the rooms with a normal third bed were occupied". We eventually managed to change rooms mid-stay. But both rooms had no ventilation, the toilets barely flushed, there was a sewer smell, the shampoo and shower gel were diluted with water, the front door kept sticking. Almost every day we called someone to open or close the doors because they were completely non-functional. There is no way to lock the door with a card - only keys. Also, the towels were not changed at all and the room was dirty even after cleaning.
2) If you do not want to get food poisoning, you should not eat 80% of the food. The same goes for drinks. The dishes were not washed well and you can see food residue from the previous person, especially at the bar.
3) The beach is rocky and unsafe. During the entire stay there was stormy weather and no one was swimming in the hotel area. To enjoy the sea you should go to Potamos beach, which is not very close to the hotel.

I stayed in the Malia Bay Beach Hotel with my friend for a week. We got a great room with a view on the pool. The rooms aren’t big, however they are in a great condition. AC works which is so useful due to the heat outside. The food in the hotel was great. They have different food theme almost every day and i must say the food was indeed delicious. The staff is really nice and helpful. I had an overall great experience. I have to add though that the wifi connection is not strong and you don’t have everywhere in the hotel.

We stayed in the hotel for a total of 6 days. The location is amazing and the beach is found in front of the hotel which we loved. The animation in the hotel is amazing and offers entertainment for all ages. In the night there are shows which we enjoyed watching. The food was decent. Overall we would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Crete !

The staff was very friendly, always smiling and ready to help. In the restaurant we enjoyed the food was fantastic with plenty of choices. Thanks a lot to our housekeeper, she was amazing. For sure will come back again.

Nice, clean and tasty hotel. There is no private beach, but you can walk a little and there will be excellent sandy beaches nearby. The city center is 20 minutes walk.
