Location: 2.5 km from the town of Hersonissos and Stalida, 40 km from Heraklion port, 38 km from the international airport Nikos Kazantzakis.
Consists of an old building renovated in 2004 and a new building constructed in 2003.

Beach: public sandy-pebble beach only 150 m from the hotel (2-coastline). Umbrellas and sun beds - for a fee. Beach towels are on bail. The beach is 2 km away.

We had an amazing stay at Arminda Hotel & Spa in Crete. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, even before our arrival, and made my birthday truly special with a decorated table, balloons, a bottle of wine, and warm wishes from the whole team.
The facilities are excellent and very well maintained — from the kids’ club and playground with caring staff, to the beautiful pools (including a seawater pool with a sea view and fun kids’ pools with slides). The rooms were spotless, cleaned daily with fresh towels, and the hotel’s location in Hersonissos was perfect, with parking always available.
We also loved the relaxed atmosphere, the variety of food, the snack bar and gelateria, and the daily entertainment that was both fun and high quality. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we highly recommend this hotel, especially for families.

The kids klubb was lovely for my cousins. The entertainment was so nice and put in a lot of effort. My aunt went there last year and the hotel and entertainment has had a great improvement. Wonderful!

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. A 20-30min drive from Heraklion. Clean. Different pools to choose from and some water slides. Although the water was a bit on the colder side in October but we still swam. Can go to the beach too which is owned by another hotel but that's fine. Some people say the pool towels cost extra but the first one is free and you're free to use it throughout the week. There's also a convienient laundry rack in the rooms. The food was fine, maybe needed some more salt at times. We arrived quite late and they even had a cold buffet waiting for us which we didn't expect!

We had a wonderful stay at Arminda with our 2YO daughter. The location is great with easy access to a beach which is excellent for swimming, and close to local towns for authentic dining & sightseeing.
Within the hotel there are many choices when it comes to dining, relaxing & entertainment. The staff at Arminda are very attentive and friendly. A special Thank you to Maria & Sophia at Votsalo who made every morning wonderful with their smiles, welcoming energy and amazing coffee!
The only difficulty we encountered during our stay was the access our daughter had to opening our room door from within the room, we felt safe but had to take special precautions to ensure she didn’t leave unattended.

we had a wonderful stay at arminda with a 10 year old and a 2 year old in september. We especially appreciated pinkwawe who arranged fun activities and shows. our children loved the kids club with Allie and Filippa who organized activities such as face painting, t-shirt painting, treasure hunts etc. The mini disco in the evenings was also very popular. There were nice and fresh pools and there were plenty of sun loungers. The small beach right next door was also appreciated.

My family and I, wife and children aged 9 and 11, had a wonderful 5 days at the Arminda. The food quality was good, tasty and plentiful. The service was polite, courteous and engaging as we were always checked on to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The rooms were cleaned daily, at a convenient time for us, the facilities were also exceptionally clean and the gym was great! There was live entertainment including an Abba show, magic show for kids, plays and karaoke for all. One of those events per night. Our kids loved the food variety, pool and entertainment provided. Lots of activities for kids which allowed for some adult time too.
Check-in and out staff were helpful with advice too.
We were there with friends and can't wait to return in the future.

Amazing family hotel.
We spent 10 days, in July 2024. The staff is the kindest staff i ever met. They gave us such a warm and familiar feeling! The staff Arranged my daughter a wonderful decorations for her birthday, and made a whole celebrationof the check in and the entry to the room.
The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Food is also good, big diversity and options, so anyone can find something he likes.
The entertainment staff were also exceptional! Kids and adults, we all had a lot of fun.
At the end of the vacation- we simply didn't want to leave. I think this says it all!

What can I say.... probably one of the best 4* hotels in the region. The staff are attentive and cheerful, the buffets are top-quality, the activities are state-of-the-art (water park for children, modern fitness room for adults, 3 Padle courts, basketball court, table tennis,...), the pools are clean and pleasant, the rooms are perfect, the spa is available and the shows are top-notch.
I recommend this hotel to all families looking for a sporting vacation, relaxation and Cretan nutrition.

Excellent family hotel in Crete! We are currently on our 2nd visit , we couldn't fault either stay. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and can't do enough for you. The pools are perfect for children and there are quiet areas for adults to relax too. There is a variety of food in the restaurant and snack bars, plenty of choice. Would definitely recommend the hotel and hoping to return!

A great, clean hotel with great staff and a good range of facilities. My particular favourite is yoga/meditation followed by a Greek coffee or home made iced tea (really is at slightly different each day) the animation team have been really good.
Although all inclusive it is worth while taking a 10-12 euro taxi into a village to seek out Cretan food, often with a stunning view.
