The hotel is great, but the service is amazing. The water are good and the beach is great, food is good but use the menu instead of the open buffet, it had great things like pesto pasta and grilled meat. On another note, there’s one employee named Aris who took us from the airport and during our travel was so nice and helpful, which showed me what a service is all about. I will definitely come back because of him and the hotel. Greece is amazing. Love from Israel.

Very beautiful resort, extremely clean ,the rooms with the private pool are perfect! The food is good. However surprisingly we had to pay extra cost for the water in dinner.

Beautiful hotel by the sea. The rooms with pools were super nice. The pool area was also nice with a refreshing sea breeze.

The only disappointment was the Budha Bar by the pool. The quality did not match with price and expectations.

The most beautiful hotel complex I have ever seen. The unique view from the hotel lobby alone is worth a visit. Most of the staff are very courteous. As far as I have seen, all the rooms are large enough and very well equipped. The breakfast is very extensive and delicious. On the negative side, I noticed that the quality of the drinks at the bar doesn't justify the high prices and that some of the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed to me (e.g. communication problems with the cleaning staff). All in all, however, almost perfect and recommendable!

The Abaton Island Resort & Spa is an incredible vacation getaway! The staff, rooms, restaurants and hotel grounds were better than anticipated. I recommend a room with pool access if you want to enjoy a cool swim during the heat of the day or a night swim with amazing views.

We recently spent six nights at Abaton Island Resort & Spa to celebrate a birthday, and our experience was exceptional from start to finish.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Our room, with its stunning balcony and sea view, was a highlight of our stay.

We dined at all of the hotel's restaurants and were consistently impressed by the fantastic food. Special thanks to Agni and Polina for their outstanding service, which made our dining experiences even more memorable.

A shout-out to Cormac in the main bar—his professionalism, friendliness, and expertise were top-notch, and his Espresso Martini is one of the best we've ever had!

The overall standard of customer service was very high. Chrissi's attentiveness throughout the week ensured that all our needs and expectations were met.

The breakfast selection was excellent, featuring a fresh buffet daily, a variety of hot foods, and an à la carte menu. We especially enjoyed the iced coffees!

We spent a lot of time by the main pool during the day, enjoying the wonderful cocktails.

Overall, we highly recommend Abaton Island Resort & Spa. It’s a beautiful hotel in a great location, and we hope to return in the near future.

A big thank you to Sofia who welcomed us and showed us around. We also want to thank the other staff for helping us with our luggage and offering to bring us to our room with the golf cart. The staff at the restaurants/bars and the housekeeping staff were also all very friendly and professional.
We spent time at the gym, at the inside and outside pool and at the beach side which were all amazing places to enjoy the views, sun and to relax to the fullest.
The food was delicious and the buffet had other dishes every day; even though they also had a separate menu you could order from.
Would recommend for a romantic and luxurious experience.

The Abaton was really one of those stellar experiences when you're looking for a tranquil yet stylish resort hotel.
The food options are varied and very nicely defined with each restaurant having its own house on the premises.
One of the famous "Buddha Bars" are also located there which we loved for seaside lunches or the occasional cocktail/champagne shenanigans.
Staff was extraordinally friendly and helpful.
Huge pool areas and a very cozy and beautiful beach are the main focus of the hotel.
The relatively short drive from the airport is also very comfortable thanks to modern and luxurious shuttles.
All in all we definitly plan on returning on our next trip to Crete.
