We recently stayed here and loved the location and enjoyed the pool. The room was clean and comfortable and a clear priority. The cleaning and support staff were genuinely friendly and helpful.
The only issue was the attitude and demeanor of many of the staff members; a few front desk staffers, the breakfast servers, and bar tenders. They were short and unfriendly. It was very strange to be received this way. We were practically yelled at when we shared our disappointment about something. Even though the problem was rectified, I felt embarrassed by the person shaming us for a complaint. The breakfast servers avoided bringing us coffee and getting our own wasn’t an option. Finally, on the last day there was a taxi strike, but we received no notification. An email would have been nice. I’m guessing this review will make little difference, but it honestly left such a bad impression, I was happy to leave.

Excellent hotel with probably the most friendly staff I've ever experienced. The hotel has a really nice roof top bar with the best views on the Acropolis and is super centrally located. I found it exceptional value for money.

Our family had an exceptional experience here, thanks to the impeccable service and perfect location. Traveling with a young child can be challenging, staff made everything easy and enjoyable for us. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help, which we truly appreciated.
The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the Acropolis—which made it easy for us to explore without long trips. It was ideal for our family, as we could sightsee and return to rest whenever needed.
A special thank you to Micael, the porter, for his kindness and patience with our little one. His warm demeanor and genuine care made us feel right at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended for families!

We booked a superior room and it was absolutely tiny. Very dark also. They have no facilities for snacks or food in the hotel. There is nice terrace and restaurant on the roof but only opens after 7.30pm. The spaces in the rest of the hotel are just sitting empty. Seems like they are calling it a hotel for the sake of it. Will never go there again.

From the moment we arrived we were met with the most friendly smiles and service. The front desk upgraded our room since we were only staying for one night (leaving for a cruise the next day). Our room had a balcony overlooking the main street with a perfect view of the Acropolis. Speaking of the Acropolis, this hotel is literally a 10-minute walk to the Parthenon and Mars Hill and many other historically significant places. Back at Divani Palace, we had the most comfortable accommodations. But then we were guided to the preserved ancient ruins downstairs that are a part of their history & present day charm. Our trip ended with a delicious breakfast buffet and a little shopping also located on the lower floor. We are so thankful our travel agent, Josh Ned - Cruise Planners, booked us at this establishment. We truly believe we could not have found better people or palace to stay.

Natasha in the reception area is an angel. I don’t think the hotel could afford to give everyone the service she gave us so I won’t mention specifically what it was. But we appreciated it and she made it clear that there is a culture of true hospitality at this hotel. The room was absolutely gorgeous! Imagine a private terrace with a hot tub with the Parthenon right over us. It was amazing.

Velissarios’s Service was always above and beyond. He was very friendly and professional at the same time. We enjoyed the location of our hotel. The rooms were fine. The rooftop deck was a wonderful experience.

Great experience here. The staff was very nice and helpful. It is in a great location. Within walking distance of so many places including stops for hop on/hop off bus city tours.
The room was nice and included robes and slippers to utilize. There is also a balcony to look out on. They have a restaurant on the bottom floor that has a breakfast buffet in the morning. I did not go, but my mother and her friend told me it was good though they said they had a problem ordering coca cola lol.
Be careful in the bathroom. There isn't really anything to stop the water from the shower hitting outside of it so they floor can be slippery. There is a booklet that shows options for room service and for how much the items in the fridge are. Don't bother bringing leftovers back unless you are willing to eat them cold since there isn't a microwave and they aren't able to heat the food up for you.

Great view of the Acropolis, have a dinner or drink during the night. Excellent location to visit the historical landmarks. Small but nice swimming pool, note that you may not be able to use it during siesta hours. Small but good gym, where water is served. There were even complimentary nuts and dried fruits that I can’t see everywhere.
