We made a bunch of hotels and resorts and we appreciated staying in this one.
Rooms are cleaned every day, personnel is kind and professional, always smiling.
Food is correct, a few days was below expectations but it was good globally.
Above all, size of the hotel is reasonable: no queue for eating, you will always find some sun beds available around the piscines or at the beach. No need to wake up at 6.00 am to book a place with your towel. & 2 restaurants besides the buffet: Greek and Italian (
Sandy beach but a lot of rocks in the sea, don't forget your swimming shoes.
Evening animations could be improved.
We will go back again for sure.

We are amazed and we definetely return here! Hotel is luxury, modern, nicely clean with beautiful garden in it, but the heart of it is made by wonderful people starts from kitchen you meet at meals, through all bar tenders, spa profesionals, cleaning ladies...

Beach not really beautiful 😕 because of the position but very nice and comfortable sunbeds.

A big thank you to the hotel management for my stay here. It was a privilege to be a guest at your hotel and am so thankful for all the excellent service I was rendered in your hotel. Thank you very much to the wonderful Reception staff - excellent service & warm hospitality; Food & Beverage staff - thank you very much for putting up exotic & fresh dishes & drinks every meals. Great team work and excellent service. Thank you to the Housekeeping staff for alway changing towels daily and making my bed - thank you so much. The night entertainment was a thriller and superb, thank you. Overall, my stay was an awesome one and I loved my holiday in Crete and more importantly being a guest in your luxury hotel. I will highly recommend you to my friends and families when they visit Crete. Once again, my hearty Thank You to you all for making my stay an enjoyable and of course a memorable one. Will surely return in the near future.

Great hotel and great service! The staff went above and beyond to help and accommodate us! Room was nice and the food delicious! The beach is in front of the hotel and the two swimming pools are very nice I really recommend this place! A wonderful vacation!!!

Rooms:
The furniture is a bit worn but everything is clean.
Location:
Just awesome. You can hear the waves the whole day (if its windy). A long beach is directly accessible from the hotel. Swimming is not easy everywhere as there are huge natural stones.
Staff:
Always friendly and they speak several languages on a basic level.
Food & drinks:
Food is what you would expect from a hotel. There is always fresh fruit, fresh olives and tasty greek food as well as others (Pizza).

Very mixed feeling with a negative trend.
We had 2 rooms: one on the ground floor and one on the second floor.
What was good:
- nice renovated pool with a beautiful view;
- very good and various food options, excellent desserts;
- friendly staff at the a-la-carte restaurants;
- daily change of towels.
What was not good:
- way too old rooms for a 4-stars hotel incl. blocking doors to the terrace, not well closing shower door etc - when we arrived we were quite shocked;
- smell in the room on the ground floor - it remained during the whole stay even so we reported the problem immediately - cleaning staff tried to remove it but they just managed to make it not as strong;
- bad quality of the drinking water at the pool bar and for a bottled water you have to pay even in "all inclusive" (1€ for 0,33l vs 40cents for 1,5l at the shop next door);
- weird and annoying rule of booking at the a-la-carte restaurant (you have to queue at the reception at 7am on the day you want to go to the restaurant, not a single minute earlier, booking list not available, if you come at 7.30am you are too late);
- rocky and dangerous beach - we observed several incidents and I got hurt myself;
- poor evening animation;
- some staff members are not polite (no good morning or hello even if you say hello to them) and even aggressive towards the guests (an older lady at the pool bar has offended my wife).
As a result we will NEVER come to this hotel again.

Great hotel!!
First of all it's a VERY friendly hotel that has the kind, comfort and luxury vibe all in one🙌 the refurbishment done last year took it to another level. The infinity pool is incredible with actual freaking music underneath the water surface 🤯 People here are always happy and very helpful. Whatever you need you get🙌
Something I know a lot of people worry about these days is safety and cleaniness 😉this hotel is at the top of its game with that. Rooms are spacious cleaned every day. You get the towels for the beach which is literally just opposite the hotel. No need to pay for beds etc. there is a little shop in the hotel, great spa and so relaxing. Loads of beds around two pools, loads of beds on the beach.
Food wise it's INCREDIBLE. 3 A la carte restaurant (Japanese, Italian and real Greek). I cannot get over the fact that even the buffet each day served fresh locally sourced food. I could live off their greek yoghurt,feta and fresh tomatoes for the rest of my life🤩Every day you could try beautiful greek cuisine making this place very authentic ❤️a lot of hotels these days concentrate on the all in one cuisine forgetting how great it is to share your origins with your guests🥺 well this place gives you the authentic greek experience. Swipe for more picture of our big Greek feast at the Greek restaurant . Italian was super nice great pasta huge portions lovely vibe. Japanese even better the pad Thai was lovely and delicious sushi

Impeccable staff and service from housekeeping to the concierge, fabulous food and drink abundantly included, comfortable beds, stylish, friendly, cool, sunbeds and cabanas with fat cushions on the beach and pool, soft linens and slippers, beauty services, fun animation, super clean, organized tours, car hire, recently renovated; and, and, and... I'm moving in.

We stayed for 12 wonderful days. The rooms are big and comfy, the view to the ocean was amazing and also the food unbelievable good. So tasty and fresh, every day new choices and really friendly service and personal. The beach is directly at the hotel area and the ocean is nice and has crystalclear water. The gym is modern and has everything you need for a good workout. Furthermore there is a supermarket (if you need one) and car/quad rental service nearby or you book a car direktly in the hotel if you want.
I definitely have to recommend the Costa Mare Palace! It was a beautiful stay, with lots of fun, thanks to the animation team also and beautiful sunsets and so much more... just an awesome time!!! Thanks a lot we will come again =)
