Ibis Budapest Citysouth

I want to sincerely thank several staff members for all their kind help. Debbie was so kind to us at 12 midnight after our flight was cancelled. She could not have been more willing to help us with any request we had. In addition, Vivian in the Business Office was kind and very helpful as she printed new boarding passes and other documents for us. The chef at the restaurant was very gracious, too. In other words, the staff are excellent! In addition, the beds are very comfortable and the room we had (229) was very spacious. Finally, there is a real peacefulness about the hotel, perhaps because there is a nature walking trail right next to it. So what began as a mini-disaster (a cancelled flight which meant we did not make it to our connecting flight, and all kinds of plans had to be changed) turned into two days of peace, quiet and kindness. Thank you to everyone at Budapest City South!

Nice hotel with beautiful and comfortable rooms.
The hotel owns a lovely garden and it’s like an escape from reality where you can take short walks and get some fresh air because it’s next to a forest.
The reception staff are super kind and the sales lady, Alexandra is a very hardworking person who is very considerate of individual needs. 100% reccomend this hotel if you like being in a calm, modern and eco-friendly qualitative hotel.

Very good experience, pretty cheap, very clean hotel and room, everything looked brand new and modern in the room, quite spotless. Very nice and kind staff, was able to modify my booking after I made a mistake without any charge (wrong day booked and wasn't cancellable from app free of charge anymore). Will surely come back to Ibis hotels in Budapest.

We had a seminar with a full-day event in this hotel, and of course, staying here for a couple of nights with my colleagues around the end of April.

The meeting room on the ground floor, next to the breakfast area, was clean and well prepared, and there was a door to the backyard; with one step, our guests were able to enjoy the sun during a coffee break.
I want to especially thank Alexandra, Janos, and all the F&B team assistants, who always provided us with assistance in time when we needed it.

You get what you pay for.
Comfy and tidy room with a tiny bathroom.
Staff's politeness can be a bit overwhelming sometimes (no joke).
Affordable breakfast, proper coffee machine.
There is a mall nearby that I'd highly recommend visiting. If you wish to check the capital, the subway/underground is literally 50 yards from the entrance.

On the downside,
If you get a room that's facing the street, prepare yourself for an authentic urban background noise (trams, buses, busy intersection).
The walls are quite thin, you can hear what your neighbour is talking about, not to mention the elephants above.

...but then again, this is a decent spot for the money you have to pay.

It is really a very nice hotel with cleanness and supportive staff at the reception and good location with a nearby shopping center.
I have really enjoyed my stay at the hotel with the good hospitality i have received from the receptionist.
I want to thank SZABOLCS who is the receptionist and his colleagues who helped me with a friendly guidance to places that I have visited and experienced the most in Budapest.

Room was clean, this was our second stay here and this time we had a better stay, my only complaint is that pillows are too hard, this was my complaint last time but nothing has changed about that. Nevertheless we like this hotel because metro is near which takes you to city centre in less than 20 minute while airport is some 15 min away which is great for early morning flights.

I spent one night at this hotel in between two flights. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The bathroom was nicely remodelled, but very tight. The breakfast was my only concern though, as most of it was gone by 9:30 am and nothing got replenished. The eggs were cold and the only remaining bun was dry. The fruit was also gone and staff was walking by oblivious to it.

I would recommend this highly. Great Hotel, Spacious rooms, Almost midway from airport and the City. Its little bit far from City Center but connectivity is good.. metro/ bus stop is infront of the Hotel. A shopping mall is also there at walking distance of 300-400meters and has supermarket as well.
