Absolutely loved my stay at lbis Hotel!
This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. It's super well located just a few steps from the metro and only a short ride or walk from all the main attractions in the city. You can get anywhere without stress!
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel itself is quite large, but everything was clean, organized, and well-maintained. My room was modern, comfy, and had an absolutely stunning view of the city! I genuinely didn't expect that!
Now let's talk about the breakfast. Hands down, the BEST hotel breakfast I've ever had. The variety was insane they had everything from pastries and fresh fruits to hot dishes and even Camembert cheese (yes, seriously!). I went down for breakfast excited every single morning.
Bonus points: the hotel is really close to supermarkets, a DM store, and everything you could need if you're traveling light or on a budget. There's also a super cute and cozy restaurant called Vagon nearby, which I highly recommend if you're into local vibes and tasty food.
Overall, this place is a 10/10. Great location, amazing breakfast, lovely people.I would 100% stay here again!

Luckily during my stayed I bring my own toiletries. The hotel just provide shampoo and soap only due to reducing plastic use. The Air conditioner could be more cold, lobby feels colder than my room. Other than that my stay was good.

I recently stayed at Ibis Castle and had a pleasant experience overall. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff were proffesional and helpful throughout our stay, which made a big difference.

The breakfast was very good, with plenty of options to start the day right.

As for the prices, they are in line with the city average – and since Budapest is generally an expensive city, don’t expect budget rates. Still, considering the location and the service, it’s a good value.

A solid choice if you’re visiting Budapest and want a convenient and welcoming place to stay.

Good location to go Fisherman’s bastion and Buda castel.

The hotel environment is nice, but the facilities are quite basic. What made me really angry was that I left my pajamas on the bed, and when I came back at night, although the bed had been made, my pajamas were thrown on the floor! They could have easily been placed on the nearby chair, but instead, they were tossed on the ground! Even if they had accidentally fallen, the staff could have at least picked them up. But they didn’t even bother! It completely ruined my mood. I’m so upset!

I had a great experience - customer service was open and friendly. Thank you Henrik on front reception for helping with any questions that I had. I'd recommend this hotel for any travellers coming to see Budapest :)

Nice hotel, good location, but lacking basic room supplies. They charge for kettles. Staff was very helpful though.

Pros: Location is best if you plan to stay out the entire day. 5 mins walk from Budapest-Deli station, with easy access to Metro Red Line (direct to Parliament building) and tram to Gellert Hill (transfer to Central Market Hall etc). 10mins walk (plus a little hike) to reach Fisherman’s Bastion for early sunrise view.
