Ibis Budapest Centrum

The hotel is located right in the center and next to the airport busses, shopping, bridge, restaurants and subway. Everything was accessible by walking from there.
Hotel standard was as expected - clean and exactly what you expect of an ibis chain.
We would stay here again in the future if we go back to Budapest.

Only missing part was the soap and tissues in the bathroom was not restocked when they cleaned the room (which I thought the cleaning did daily). We however forgot to mention it to the reception so they didn’t have a chance to fix it outside the cleaning staffs rounds.

A reasonably priced hotel right at the hub of transportation at Kalvin Tur which offers options of Airport bus, Metro, Trams and Buses. It is also a walkable distance into the city centre with some good places to eat locally as well as 2 Aldi supermarkets and the Central Market Hall.

Check in was straight forward. I went with a friend and we were checked in individually which speeded up the process. There is a tax to pay. The room was clean and what we required. Essentially a bed and shower as we planned to be out. I stayed for 3 nights. I struggled with the warmth of the room on the first night and couldn't work the air con. I asked at reception and they said they had switched to the heating system a week or two ago. As it is on the same system for the hotel it could only be one or other. They offered to take the window off the latch so I could open it wider but you have to sign a waiver.

Rooms were made each day with towels refreshed.

Check out was equally simple. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Great vfm. Centrally located with cafes, restaurants and supermarket nearby. Quiet place. Usual Continental breakfast which is sufficient. Clean, neat and hygienic rooms and common areas. Crisp linen. Tap drinkable water. 135 rooms either city facing or rear open space facing. Good air conditioning. Simple non fussed rooms. No hot water kettle on rooms.
Definitely can stay here for a Budapest visit.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were extremely clean and cozy, making me feel right at home. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of fresh and high-quality products. The porridge, in particular, was delicious! Additionally, the hotel is in a perfect location, allowing easy access to the main attractions in the area. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Nice and friendly staff, comfortable room (I could have a kettle, a mini fridge would have been perfection), the air conditioning was working, I had a quiet room as requested, good location, good choice at breakfast. I'll come back. For work, I moved then to a 4* hotel and I wasn't as comfortable and well received

I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Budapest as it is very close to the tram, bus, metro station and the express bus to the airport! The proximity to such easy transportation made it easy to discover Budapest, especially if you take the 72-hours pass. The location is perfect.

The design is modern and correct, the bathroom a bit small but clean. There is something in ibis hotels that lacks coziness and personal touch. You feel in a finished standard European product, that sometimes seems out of touch with the city you're visiting, and as if it's any hotel that can be anywhere in the world. The breakfast is very limited and can have room for improvement, with wider choices.

The breakfast was a great start to every morning. It was delicious, robust, and was the best feature of the hotel. The rooms left a little wanting due to some of the flooring coming up which degraded the sense of a nice room. Everything else was to standard.

We stayed one week in this lovely hotel, and everything from the first day to the last was perfect, The reception open 24 h, super clean room, and a nice hotel in the center. wonderful, friendly staff. We will come back again

This hotel is well located and nearby public transportation. I usually would never go to a such expensive place for what they have to offer. But it was a health necessity.
I found the team at the desk friendly and welcoming special thanks to Boroka and her team mate. The 11€ breakfast was awesome in quality and quantity and once again the team was extremely professional.
I didn’t like the smell in the room, I think there should be a deep cleaning for the price paid.
I also take the opportunity to signal the toilet flushing is not working properly in this 610 room, so handy (wo)man go your way.
