Leonardo Hotel Budapest

The three of us stayed for three days during winter solstice time and were very satisfied with beautiful hotel and the friendly staff. A great advantage is the garage as well as a good location. I would love to stay there again.

Amazing hotel in a lovely part of Budapest!!
Loved the walk to and from the hotel, not too busy but also fairly lively. Feels safe and comfortable around there. There’s a really nice park a minute away from the hotel, a variety of restaurants and nice gelato ! Would really recommend and can’t wait to go again!
I will say this…photos on website made some rooms look smaller then they actually were but over all really nice feel to the hotel and neighbourhood. The hotel staff were also all lovey and helpful.

Budget hotel in nice area, not too near to city centre but tram is nearby around 5 mins walk and around 5-6 stops to city centre
Hotel room is at the small side , not enough space if you have 2 big suitcases. Bathroom is also small but adequate

We recently enjoyed a 5-night stay at the Leonardo Hotel Budapest in a comfort double room. The check-in and check-out process was efficient and hassle-free. The hotel's location is a big plus - nestled in a quiet residential area yet close to public transport, restaurants, and grocery stores. This offered a convenient base for exploring Budapest while providing a peaceful retreat at the end of the day.

The room itself was spacious and clean, with housekeeping providing fresh towels and a new water bottle daily - a thoughtful touch we appreciated. An additional perk was the controllable air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable room temperature during our stay.

It's worth noting that the walls could be a bit thin. We occasionally heard noise from neighboring rooms, especially in the mornings. However, considering the hotel's overall value for money, this wasn't a major drawback.

In all, we would definitely recommend Leonardo Hotel Budapest to anyone seeking a comfortable and affordable stay in Budapest. Its convenient location, clean rooms, and friendly service made it a great choice for exploring the city.

The hotel is nice, the rooms are very clean and big.
However, I cannot even describe the staff. The first night we went there the AC was not working so we called the receptionist, when she checked herself we asked to change the room as the temperature outside was above 30. She started yelling at us telling us that she is not the mechanic and cat change our room we have to wait till tomorrow.
The staff are really unprofessional, and unhelpful.
I stayed at Leonardo Hotel in Barcelona before and had the best experience, thats why I booked again here. However, the staff here were not up to the standards. So I really suggest you do something regarding as this is not the first complain.

Clean, comfortable hotel serves good breakfast to set you up for the day. The lifts are a bit small. Can recommend the stay. Short walk to public transport network. Nearby pubs and cafes. The hotel is situated in a pleasant, quieter street. As a traveller accommodated all our needs.
