Continental Hotel Budapest

Was a great stay. The breakfast was very good with delicious French toast.

Good service and good breakfast

The hotel is well located to walk around and there are great places to eat nearby. It’s a 15 minute walk to the Christmas markets and river.
The hotel is very nice in the entrance with a dramatically beautiful lobby, but the rooms are small, dark and in my case not very clean.

Before I keep with the negative aspects, I’d like to make a special remark to Mr. Janos who was the most helpful person and so willing to help and gave us the best recommendations, including best running route!!!
I arrived at 7am and was able to change and go for a run before my room was ready as early as 11am!! Thank you for that!!!!

Back to the negative:
My room didn’t have a bath (my friend’s on the same floor did 🥲) and the furniture was old and kind of sad.
The worst was the shower. It was so tiny and badly designed that it was impossible to use the shampoo without getting it all washed away.

Breakfast was very good, specially if you are an early bird like me and can enjoy the 7am opening service with fresh bread, amazing eggs and the cauliflower which was my ultimate favorite!!

All in all, pleasant stay, made much better by Janos!!!!!

It was a lovely stay. The facilities of the hotel are great. Our room was very quiet, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was amazing, had a lot of variety and the food was of great quality. The location of the hotel is really convenient. The best thing about the hotel were the staff members. All the staff members in every post were highly professional, extremely helpful, very polite and very friendly.I highly recommend it.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff were really friendly and everything is within walking distance of the hotel. The saunas and pool are easily accessible. Unfortunately the outdoor pool had closed during our stay. The only issue we had was that we had 2 single beds pushed together with 2 single quilts and would have preferred an actual double bed. Highly recommend

Lovely hotel not far from the great synagogue in Budapest. Full services, great breakfasts. Their restaurant, Araz, was exceptionally good. The manager went out of her way to please, even recommending her favorite desserts.. Our waiter, Peter, was attentive and charming. We recommend both the hotel and the restaurant.

Beautiful Hotel in the city center, easy to access with public transport. Helpful staff at check in, bar and cleaning staff. The restaurant was lovely, good food and service. The breakfast is a nice mix of different things with a variety every day, one minus point is the morning staff. Tables aren't cleared after guests left and staff oftentimes chats behind the counter rather than refilling cups/ breakfast items. They seemed busy with their phones, one of them taking selfies in front of customers

I stayed 3 days in this hotel in June. It was a beautifull experiences that stayed in this kind of beautifully restored building. Staff were very polite and understanding. Our room was very clear. Breakfast was very enough and delicious. They arranged a room to watch world cup matches, it was enjoyable. Hotel is very close to city center. I will prefer to stay here when I plan to come Budapest again. Thank you for everything.
