The location was the only thing that was good about the hotel. The room wasn’t cleaned properly, toilet paper weren’t restocked when emptied, bed was extremely uncomfortable and it was two single beds shoved next to each other so they kept moving apart, on top of all of that you could hear everything from the other rooms absolutely 0 sound proofing and the breakfast was a joke. Cold watery scrambled eggs and barely anything else.
If you are looking for something cheap and don’t care about anything it could be for you otherwise i wouldn’t really recommend

Worst hotel ever! I don’t know why they can be called a “hotel”??? the room is small and DIRTY. The bedsheet and towels are dirty.

People say that you get what you paid for! Well I did not! I strongly believe that I should get at least a clean a room for the money I paid and I did not!! We change two rooms just to end up to the first one, only because the other was even worse than the first one! The breakfast was ok! The fresh towels never came, we stayed with the old grey ones that we got when we checked in, the trashbin in the bathroom was broken and rooten! The staff was polite at least! If they value so little the money I paid to stay there, I do not and I really would not recommend this hotel from my personal experience!

Absolutely terrible service here. They knowingly gave me this room with a broken AC when it’s been 33 everyday (almost 100F). With closed windows and a tiny fan. Housekeeping told me that this has been a known issue. When I told them of the issue it was nighttime on my first night there when i noticed I was sweating, and they said they would get me another room. I told them I’d be gone all day for the festival, and they said it’d be fine. When I came to get the keys, they said they sold the room already and was completely booked. How does that even make sense? Aware that a room is needed due to a faulty system, and you sell it anyway? I melted everyday. The temp of my room by 10 pm was 30-31 C. They don’t even do that to zoo animals. Absolutely unacceptable. Very rude older man at reception too. He clearly didn’t give af. Don’t risk roasting to death here when there are so many nice cheap hotels around. Ridiculous.

That was the most scary/ weird experience we ever had in a hotel. We visited the hotel on the night of the 18th to the 19th of July 2025. We left our bag in the early afternoon and it was a man at the reception and everything went well. We called in the evening to make sure we could do a late check-in, and the receptionist said yes. We came back around 11pm, and this time it was a blond woman at the reception, we asked for our bags, and she immediately threw them on the floor ( with my compiter inside). She then insulted us all sorts of names that we cannot write in a google review. And when asking her why she just said 'you know why'. In the end she gave us the key to the room and she said "good night and I hope you 💀". All of this was completely unprovoked, and she didn't want to explain why she had this behaviour ( we were wondering if we had done something wrong). We then went upstairs and directly called booking and changed the hotel. We later discovered that others had left reviews previously detailing a similar experience (e.g.; on tripadvisor). I had to put an emoji 💀 as I cannot write the word in Google review.

The Hotel is incredible, specially for its price. The night was for €39 . The room is spacious and has a fridge and coffee machine( but no coffee)

Nice hotel. The main attractions are a bit far away, but the famous Szimpla Kert bar is very close.
