We used this hotel during our 2-day trip to Budapest.
Mr. Muhammed welcomed us at the hotel entrance and was incredibly helpful and polite. He shared all the detailed information about Budapest. I really thank him very much. The most caring and hospitable hotel receptionist I have ever seen.
The rooms are clean and the hotel is centrally located. Walking distance to everywhere.

Do Not Stay Here – Find Alternative Accommodation
We were unable to rest during our stay due to excessive noise. We could clearly hear loud conversations and disturbances from neighboring rooms, and unfortunately, the staff did nothing to address it. To make matters worse, the loud and unpleasant snoring from the adjacent room kept us awake.
This is an apartment-style hotel with a central patio, which amplifies all the noise from the building. Every sound travels, making it impossible to relax. We were also woken up before 7 AM by what sounded like people moving metal objects. Additionally, the building shakes—possibly due to nearby trains—which added to the discomfort.
Overall, it was a terrible experience. I left feeling exhausted and unrested. Avoid this place if you’re looking for a peaceful stay.

Photos are misleading. There is no restaurant, pool, or anything like that, it’s more like an Airbnb and not a hotel. It’s a floor with different rooms. They don’t clean the rooms, they just give you clean towels every day. It’s very informal, so it’s like an Airbnb. It was hot and we couldn’t sleep, but when we requested the control for the AC, they said that they didn’t have service until we left (which is a lie because there is AC outside of the room, just not in the room). The only good thing was the location, it was perfect to be close to everything in the city center and public transport.

We had a fantastic experience at Budapest Museum Central Hotel, and a big part of that was thanks to Mohammad Jasim. He made our check-in smooth and hassle-free, and went above and beyond by helping us plan a perfect 4-day itinerary tailored to our interests. Avoid at all costs!
This place is worse than a hostel. One overwhelmed receptionist runs everything—poorly. Arrived at 1 PM as per my booking but had to wait an hour to check in.
The room? Filthy. Coffee stains on the desk, loose tap, long hairs on the bedding. You even have to make your own bed! Asked for a proper duvet, but they only had separate ones—how does a hotel fail at basic laundry?
Noise is a nightmare. A girl was crying in the hallway, but after 10 PM, there’s no staff to help. Oh, and they only accept cash.
I’ll be demanding a refund.

As Quality Hotel Inspector - I not satisfied with the hotel, but as tourist - it’s ok because of location.
Details: rooms in the photo looking better than reality. Furniture is good, some paint touches needed but not too much, shower working good, TV is working, WI FI connection is very good. Bed linen not torn and almost new but I find different hairs (not mine) on it and this made me upset. The soundproofing in the room is terrible. you could hear the neighbors turning on the socket. This is the only 2 dislikes in this hotel but the biggest for me.
Location is very comfortable to walk to the centre and bus stop to go to airport.

Cancelled at the last minute when I found out that they don't take credit card payments. Would have to find an ATM to pay in cash.
Called them three times to ask questions and no one answered. Messaged them but no one answered. You need to watch a video to learn the check-in procedure. The reception desk was not always occupied. No way am I staying under these conditions. Found a real hotel to stay in.

Bed bugs, reception hardly available, seemingly greedy owner that accepts only cash and likes money so much (and no.. on the application it said they accept credit card), used shampoo, and etc.. Need I say more? What an experience.. Ive been over 100 different guesthouses around the world in my life I think it is gonna be the top 3 worst places Ive stayed I can say.. wonder why this place has such a high rating.. I feel totally scammed.. (I hope this place closes sooner or later)

Very good location, bus stop from and to the airport just outside, very close is the central market and the vaci street. Its very cheap and good for its price. Two negatives are that its hard to find for the first time, we were standing right outside of it and didnt realise that it was this one and second is inside the gates again is not clear where it is, we opened a door to the kitchen of a house next to it.
