B&B Hotel Firenze Laurus al Duomo Hotel, Florence1 / 50
8.9
Florence, Via Cerretani 54/R 🧭 Map
This hotel is located perfectly: just 5 minutes walk to Doumo and 8 minutes walk to the train station S.M.Novella. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable enough for a good recovery after thousands of steps around the city. Breakfast was rich enough and tasty. Staff was polite and helpful. I would rate this hotel 10/10 for it's price.
The location of the hotel was great near to the most important sightseeing areas. The breakfast was good. The room was really spacious and newly renowated. The staff was polite and helpful. Definitely will go there again
Wonderful stay at B&B Hotel Firenze Laurus al Duomo and would stay here again. We walked from Firenze Santa Maria Novella with a large check in and hand luggage each with no major issues, mostly flat path except a small section of the walk had uneven path but the 500m distance from the station is definitely manageable. First impressions and experience arriving at the hotel were excellent. Cute artsy...
We booked this hotel for our honeymoon. The location was excellent, and the friendly staff made our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, but the view of the Duomo was absolutely amazing.
We originally chose a location near the Duomo and 5 minutes from the station, we specifically chose this location because we had a difficult journey ahead of us, we were sent to another hotel of this chain, it was unpleasant, but they called us a taxi. The hotel itself is clean and beautiful.
The hotel is very clean and in a good location. I live on the top floor on the 7th floor. There is a balcony with a direct view of the Duomo. It's great.

We stayed for four nights during our vacation to Italy. The staff were very professional, helpful and kind. The room was wonderful, clean and spacious. We loved the shower waterfall and the spa that is available. It is a bit of a walk to the main tourist area, but also far enough to not have all of the noise. The breakfast was a fabulous presentation and delicious. We did use the spa services...
The hotel staff were very professional and helpful. The room we had was spectacular, we used the sauna every day! The hotel itself was very clean and beautifully presented. It was a good walk to the centre of Florence but I would choose this hotel each time we visit the city as other comparable hotels in the city would be much expensive and probably not as good!
Moon Boutique Hotel & Spa was a wonderful surprise in Florence. Check in was quick, staff kind, and their dining tips spot on. My room felt fresh and serene, with a comfortable bed, effective blackout curtains, reliable WiFi, and a powerful shower. Housekeeping was impeccable. The small spa became my nightly reset; I loved the sauna and a relaxing massage. Breakfast offered quality pastries, fruit...
We thought this hotel was fantastic and would happily go again. Our room had everything we needed and was clean, breakfast was excellent, and the spa facilities were very nice. The staff were also very friendly and processes such as check in were quick and smooth. The hotel's location is also very convenient, being near the city centre and train station, as well as the city park.
I experienced the most loveliest stay at The Moon Boutique Hotel and Spa! The staff were very professional and welcoming, and I felt very much at home with the beautiful and most luminous decor and detail. The quality and standard of hospitality and catering was very high, and it has immediately become a favourite place of stay in Tuscany whenever I am on tour. Upon my arrival I requested a steamer...
Very nice hotel in an excellent location, right on the edge of the old city and next to the river. The area has plenty of nice restaurants for lunch and dinner, in case you do not want to walk to the old city. However, the hotel is only 10 minutes walking from the City Centre and 15 minutes from Ponte Vecchio. The hotel itself has very nice rooms. It is very clean and staff is very friendly and helpful...

Very well located with friendly staff. Personalized attention. They do their best effort to make you feel special. Personalized attention. Every day at 6 there is a complementary apperitivo!
This hotel has it all! Location, views, attention to detail, service with a smile, classic beautiful interior. And a 'happy hour' with snacks and drinks on the house. Breakast at the table. When in Florence... this really is THE place to stay.
We had a wonderful overnight stay here. The location was great, walking distance to dozens of shops, restaurants, and of course, Michelangelo’s David. We had a wonderful view of the Duomo from our balcony. The bed was super comfortable in the shower was amazing! The thing that set this hotel apart, though was the fantastic service. Aneta reached out to us before our arrival, and made sure we had...
We stayed here for two nights to do some sightseeing and this place is so centrally located literally five mins from the Duomo. The executive suite we had was a great size and super stylish just enough for a few days. The two girls on reception were super friendly and helpful.Hoghly recommend.
Very close to the Duomo, in fact you could see Brunelleschi’s dome and Giotto’s tower from the superior double #9. With such a helpful staff — so helpful that after I inadvertently left my credit card in the room and called from the train station, the wonderful young woman at the front desk LITERALLY RAN , out of breath, to give it to me at the station with 15 minutes to go before our scheduled departure...
Quite possibly the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Excellent pre-arrival communications, checkin was easy with extremely useful information and a welcome drink. Staff beyond friendly, so helpful and couldn’t do enough to make our stay amazing. The room itself, oh god the view alone made it worth it. The duomo at night from our rooms windows was beyond spectacular. Noise dampening not quite the best...

A very welcoming space in the very heart of Florence. You are literally 1/2 block from the Duomo you couldn’t be in a better spot for enjoying central Florence. And the unit was very well equipped with all we needed. When you walk in the reception person is very helpful and friendly. On entering the room we were amazed at how clean, well maintained, and simply and nicely decorated it was. It was...
Amazing location in the heart of Florence on Duomo square. We had a room with the balcony and Duomo square was just in front of us. Very helpful staff was always ready to help and answer for all our questions. Every spot in maximum of 15min walk from the hotel. I wish we could stay longer.
Best location, best views, best apartment; the best in everything!!! Sarah and Antonio are excellent!! This was my 2nd time staying here and will stay here again without any hesitation!! This apartments have everything you need for a comfortable stay in Florence!
This certainly has the wow factor!! We stayed in the Donatello room and it was amazing! The views from the main bedroom looked over Duomo Square and is simply majestic. The whole of the apartment meant there was enough space for the family to relax and have their own space if needed. The staff were extremely helpful and made the stay a lovely one. The one consideration you need to take into account...
I loved the apartment, and it's important to note that this is indeed an apartment, not a luxury hotel with room service. I point that out so that your expectations are accurate. The front desk is only open between certain hours and you get a legit set of keys that lock and unlock the main door and your apartment door. You can look at their website and see pictures for yourself, so I'll share images...
Our stay at the Palazzo Gamba Apartments al Duomo was absolutely fantastic. We stayed along with our two children (9 and 15 yrs old) and could not have asked for more. The location, directly opposite the Duomo, was perfect. The suite was clean, spacious, and beautiful. And the service was friendly and attentive. I would recommend the Palazzo Gamba to anyone visiting Florence.

Great quiet location, lovely room with view of the river
Wonderful location. The continental breakfast was excellent. Loved the room and view of the river. Definitely will return.
From the complimentary bottle of wine to the prompt service with any needs, an iron, a call for a taxi, replacement items with the room, everything here feels personal. The breakfast in the mornings is plentiful and delicious, again with attentive and exceptional service! We would highly recommend this be your home base for a stay in Florence!
Beautiful room and bathroom. Extremely elegant and refined. Staff wonderful. Breakfast superb.
Lovely place to stay The room was very comfortable and nicely set up. The paintings throughout are beautfiul. Location - close enough to walk to whatever you want to see, but not in the crowd of tourists. Lovely
Lovely quiet friendly central spot Great location, short walk to train station, right om the river. Central but very quiet location. Lovely room, great service, excellent coffee to go with a delicious breakfast, sadly only one night and secondly sad not to read the full breakfast menu! Lots of choice but one of best all the same, loved the staircase, 5 star spot

Beautiful place, best area in town
Loved this hotel. The hotel manager was lovely, the place was peaceful, welcoming and very pretty. Highly recommended :)
Great service. The owner arrived quickly to welcome us and shared all the info a tourist should know. Friendly and kind service. The building itself is special and breakfast was simple and great
Rooms very beautiful and tastefully decorated in ancient Florentine style (I think), breakfast is hearty and served in a quiet green backyard. Location is in an elegant residential area with Renaissance villas, midway between the city of Florence and its gorgeous countryside. And the price for all of this we found quite reasonable. Owners quick to react and help with any needs.

A proper gem. Fantastic location just round the corner from the Train Station. Bus stop outside the door and tram stop just nearby so transport linka could not be better. 10 minute walk to the major old town attractions such as Palazzo Vechhio and Ponte Vecchio. Easy self check-in. Room was on the small side but perfectly adequate for 2 people. Bed was comfy with luxury sheets and soft pillows. Spotlessly...
In mid-October 2024, we as a family stayed for a couple of nights at I-Sleep B&B in Florence. I had booked this after much deliberation with its manager, and my instincts were right, as it turned out to be the suitable accommodation for us during our stay. The breakfast was fine, prepared according to our suggestions. The property’s location made Florence easily walkable, and we walked miles across...
The receptionist was FANTASTIC, but when we arrived the blankets and pillows still seemed damp. The fragrance in the rooms was very over powering. Also Did notice the shower paint was chipping off and had rust everywhere. And above the window seals there is black mold growing. Which needs to be addressed.
The apartment is in a great location! Lovely apartment! Very nice and friendly hostess, who is easy to reach and is happy to give tips for your stay. A lovingly prepared breakfast is provided in the morning. You can also park your car in a nearby garage. A little noisy but otherwise great.
We very much enjoyed this comfortable stay, but the best part was the super kind, welcoming, and friendly staff
Clarissa was very helpful and responsive and goes out of the way to make your stay nice. Hotel is very close to train station and 10minutes walk to the city center. The entrance is not obvious and might be obscured due to the bus stop in front where people are waiting for the bus.

Breakfast was really good. Room was spacious. Checking in I found was a bit of a hassle, as it’s at a different hotel/location. There’s also no reception/hotel rep at the B&B that’s available at all times. Also wished breakfast was held at an earlier time. It’s from 8:30am, however, the other hotel did accommodate us with breakfast at that location from 7:30am.
Great spot in florence beautiful walk into the duomo. The Romantic room was perfect all you need after a full day walking the streets of Florence
Excellent breakfast, well prepared with breads, coffee and other stuffs; location was ok; the building is minutes away from main building for reception and parking, which is ok but sometimes annoying to walk in hot and humid weather; staffs are very friendly
The bed was comfortable although the pillows were flat and hard. Decent sized room with ensuite. Only one window shutter worked properly. There was an adjoining room door that was held closed by a fixed desk. You could hear the people next door showering. We were 2 females travelling alone so were a little uneasy about this. Shower was nice and worked well although rust/dirt marks around the shower...
Great location for our one night stay. Super friendly staff and convenient location. The room got quite hot even with the aircon on the lowest it could go. A little bit of wear and tear in the bathroom but lovely and clean with plenty of room
AC was set at 24 - we like it cooler
