Hotel Raffaello

Terrible hotel, very rude, no iron, no kettle. They charge you even for hot water.
The temperature for the AC is controlled from the Reception.
People in general are very rude. They will make you pay cash having a POS.
Also they have a lot of mosquitoes in the rooms

The good: rooms and shower are clean and tidy

The bad: the elevators are tiny! It only fit 2 ppl and 2 big luggages (and we are both slim). You can also hear the trams and cars in the room when it is quiet at night. You only get 1 key card per room even for 2 ppl, and it's required to operate the lights and AC in the room. The set meals for dinner took a long time, and it seemed like they forgot about our entree until we asked about it.

Edit to say they will threaten you with legal action if they don't like your honest review!

Airline booked us here because of cancelled flights.
Plus: comfortable beds
Unfortunates:
- Very noisy, you hear everything in the next room
- Blocked shower that pools around your feet
- Food in restaurant is really, really, really bad.
- Location is near a tram station but still not ideal.
AC, when we got it turned on, still doesn't do anything to cool the room.
Overall, would never spend my own money to stay here. Much better options elsewhere.

Avoid this hotel at all costs! The food options are extremely limited and what they do serve is completely flavorless and unappetizing. The continental breakfast consisted of stale bread and watery eggs - I couldn't even stomach more than a few bites.

The rooms are an absolute disgrace. They were filthy. Worst of all, one of our rooms was infested with bugs that crawled all over the place. I had to kill several of them during our stay. The sheets and towels also seemed questionably clean.

But the real horror was the awful customer service. The staff, especially those working in the food and beverage areas, were downright rude and incompetent. They ignored our requests, rolled their eyes at our concerns, no room service after 10 pm because the kitchen is closed and there is no staff, and seemed frustrated having to do their jobs. I've never encountered such a dismal level of service at any hotel before.

In summary, this place is an absolute disaster. The food, rooms, and staff are all severely lacking. I would never recommend anyone stay here - it was easily the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

Definitely not 4star quality
-carpets throughout the hotel, all stained
-bed cover was stained
-toilet seat had a stain on it(the kind maid tried desperately to clean it but with no luck)
-bad smells coming from the drains
-breakfast was minimal and cold
-my dog had an allergic reaction to the room(also one of the few hotels in Italy that we stayed at where there was a fee for our dog-40€)
-paper thin walls, including in the bathrooms
-although the front desk staff tried to show me 3 other rooms, including the superior room, but they all had the same quality. There was nothing done otherwise for the poor experience.

The only good thing was that we were close to the street car so we could get to the main square quickly.

The staff are completely incompetent. We made airport taxi arrangements with the staff, but ended up walking 52 minutes to the airport at 4:45 am. I don't usually leave reviews, but this was a pretty negative experience.
The hotel is not near the airport. The rooms were VERY basic. And as I've mentioned, the staff couldn't have cared any less!!

Had to stay here for new years and had a new years dinner with other tourists from my group. The food was cold didn’t taste like anything and in reality the water was the best thing there and it was salty. breakfast is plain not much to decide from either. AC is horrible we were sleeping in horrible heat every night we had to open the windows for it to get any colder. The noise around this hotel is also horrible the train is constantly passing by and ambulances constantly ringing. Overall horrible stay with 1 staff member that actually treated us decently. Gave a 2 star being generous.
