This property was located in the heart of the city of Florence. Everything from restaurants, shopping and tourist spots are within short walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful

The location is extremely good, with Concorde Square and Santa Maria del Fiore at the door, right in the city center, and the room is not disturbed by the outside noise, which is really great! There is free capsule coffee in the public area, the water in the water dispenser is very delicious, and there is ice water suitable for hot Florence

The location is excellent, and the room is beautiful! The restaurant recommended by the host is fantastic! The only downside is that the air conditioning in the room doesn't heat up, and the hot water from the water heater is limited, so it's a bit cold to shower at night when the temperature drops

Absolutely fabulous place to stay. Beds were so comfy I'd like to take them home! AC worked well. Nice and quiet area while also being steps from the Duomo. Highly recommend staying here

A wonderful place in the middle of Florence. One if the best terraces in the city. Spend mornings and evenings up there it was amazing. Staff was always incredibly kind and fast. I can only recommend it! Till next time!

We stayed here for 3 nights in late October and loved it! The view from the terrace is absolutely beautiful and we loved having our breakfast here

We think that they were somehow getting through little cracks in the wood or something? An antihistamine and bug spray later, we were able to successfully not get bit by mosquitos for the last two nights of our stay

The room was great, the views from the room and property were amazing, and the amenities were nice. One big bummer about our stay was that my partner got eaten alive by mosquitos

Similar to many places in Europe, there was no air conditioning in the room. We tried to open the big window in our room to allow some movement of air but woke up the next morning with many mosquito bites

It was a joy to stay in such a historic building. I enjoyed the ultimate luxury of being able to see the cathedral from my room. The facilities are old but not particularly problematic

The host was lovely, the whole property smelt divine and the outlook from our room was very pleasant

This place is very conveniently located with a tram stop at the end of the street, and you can download the local tram app “at bus” and buy €1. Super user friendly and takes you right to the heart of town

Room was spacious, quiet, bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was a bit small, especially the shower. Location was excellent, just 18 minutes walk to Mercato central. Staff was very friendly and helpful

We had the outside room which is obviously a converted garage but it is beautifully fitted out. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Florence

Cleanliness, courtesy and varied breakfast with good products. The prices are really competitive, kindness and courtesy of the owner made the stay very pleasant

What's more beautiful than pure contact with the Tuscan countryside just a step away from Florence? Having breakfast under the fresh foliage of a pergola, relaxing in the evening lying under a roof of stars before going to bed, being able to immerse yourself in a welcoming swimming pool after a daily "immersion" in the culture and art of the Tuscan capital

If it were possible to attribute more stars I would in fact Cosimo and his wife, the owners, undoubtedly deserve it given their professionalism and courtesy !!! This B&B is a small pearl set in the green hills of Florence

I felt pampered like family (especially since my stay at this hotel was not for tourism, but for medical reasons) for this reason I thank the owners infinitely, strongly recommending tourists to stay in this place

The environment is warm, welcoming: it has the flavor of the farmhouse of yesteryear. The food cooked by Antonella definitely deserves to be tasted, given the excellent quality of the cuisine on offer

Staff very friendly, room cleaned everyday. What is a bonus is that they provide bus tickets which is so convenient. Bed comfortable and a clean bathroom. Loved the green shutters to my room and the balcony

There are a couple of local restaurants too. It is a quiet residential area and is a good 20 or more minutes into town depending on traffic and bus. If you want to be in the thick of it this isn’t for you

When -- because of the rain -- I struggled to get a taxi for the airport, she offered to ask her daughter to drive me. Fortunately, I did find a cab eventually, but I appreciated the gesture

We stayed in Agatha which was a large and beautiful room. The beds are the comfiest I have stayed in. A warm welcome, Breakfast adequate and the ability to buy bus tickets very useful

I spent two nights in this attractive villa at the bottom of the Fiesole hill. My room was large and clean, and had a nice view of the garden

The bedroom is spacious, cosy and comfortable with a private bathroom too. It's location is just perfect, within walking distance to most major tourist attractions, shopping, dining and also the main train station

The view from the Gold room is awesome. You over look the Piazza Della Signoria and and see the full dome of the Doumo. Everything is within walking distance from the room. The staff is friendly and helpful

The centrally located B&B was fantastic and in spite of the location there were no issues with street noise. We stayed in a family room which was comfortable and the A/C and shower facilities were great

Rita was the best, pay her more and never less. The location was locationing. If you’re looking for a convenient hotel around all the attractions, this is it. The coffe machine was one for the gods.

I had asked about laundry services, and while they are not onsite, they had printed out directions and instructions for us to the local laundromat!! Amazing consideration!! Our room was spacious and the shower was amazing with a rain shower head that felt great after a long day of walking Florence

The room is super clean and Rita is very helpful! The location is excellent and we can walk to all the attractions in Florence within 15 mins. This accommodation would be perfect if they have lift :p

The only downside was our room was over an internal storage area where workers would smoke, so we couldn’t leave our windows open (but it was raining most the time we were in Florence)

Also, the hotel does not offer any breakfast if you are wanting that, but we didn’t mind as we wanted to get out and experience Florence and find food ourselves

The shower was infront of out room, however, its not as spacious but its cleaned daily and it smelled good. They provide daily housekeeping and (daily towel change upon request)

Cons we weren’t given any towels and the bathroom is across the hall from the bedroom (however, it is private and could only be used by us)

Martindago is a charming B&B in Florence. Its location is also amazing, right in the centre. Ponte Vecchio is few mins away from the B&B. You can get free coffee in the B&B & breakfast coupons for the cafe just down

The Host is very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately, like most Italian hotels, there is no A/C. Come prepared for beautiful country side and a little sweating in the summer.

Francesco went out of his way to ensure my laundry got washed and cleaned! he dropped it off locally and called to make sure it was ready for pick up. He was SO kind. The location of his place also cannot be beat!

I had a really wonderful stay at Tre Gigli. The accommodations are very comfortable and clean and in an excellent location, close to the train station and also to the center of the old city

The entire house was at our disposal, and we chose to sleep in the sun room because it was more quiet. There is a strong air conditioning in every room, including the kitchen

This place is super strategic, just about 1min walk to the Piazza Republicca and is the centre to all key attractions in Florence. Room is clean and quiet despite located in a busy area

Stepping into the entrance, we were a bit let down that we had to climb 1 flight of stairs with our heavy luggage as the lift is on the next floor onwards

Tidy hostel, in bedroom we found fridge that was big advantage. We had litlle problem with check-in because landlady had forgotten give us pincode to door but she pick up the phone at 1 am so contact was very good

Excellent hotel! We stayed one night, quite decent, clean It's a half hour walk to the center We chose it because of the free parking on the street, actually, we found a place without any problems

It was quiet at night because there was not cars driving, otherwise there was noise. One of the greatest things we loved was the breakfast. There are no places in Florence that give breakfast for free like Mia’s place

I arrived late but the owners provided me information to get inside, so there were no issues. The location is a little hard to identify from the outside, so you have to pay attention to the little signs on the door

But it was very quiet, which was perfect for me. The shower could use a little renovation, since the sliding doors fall off very easily. Biggest recommendation is some kind of non-slip floor in the shower
