It’s a light fair of fruit and pastries, and the espresso is wonderful. All you need to get your day started. We can’t wait to come back to Florence and stay at Palazzo Guiccardini again
Absolutely fantastic stay. The hotel is very well placed, spacious and clean and very good value. The team also go above and beyond, helping us to locate a lost package the day before our wedding. Highly reccomended!
The ceilings are simply spectacular. Niccolo is an amazing host and clearly cares a great deal about the guests
He kept in touch our entire travel day and even arranged for a car service to fetch us from the airport when our flight was delayed. Definitely try the morning breakfast
If I may suggest , but it’s not that important, it’s to have the bathrobes at the rooms and include in breakfast some salty food ( like cheese with ham… )not only the sweet ones
There was a very nice classic music in the morning in the beautiful dining room for the breakfast

Cons: - spent a long time looking for my room; - wi-fi without internet connection (fortunately, it was on the square opposite the house); - noisy air conditioner; - old worn furniture; - no refrigerator; - the room itself is cramped
Third, the check-in area is on the 3rd floor, and when I visited on Saturday, the owner wasn't there, and the hotel didn't answer the phone (the operator just kept repeating a voice message saying they were busy and asked me to wait), so I wasted quite a bit of time
Fourth, we were assigned to the 5th floor, which required walking up two more floors, and the only security was an old wooden door that required a key to enter (it seemed to be more sturdy than the front door of our house)
Second, even though I found it with such difficulty, the hotel's main door was closed, so I couldn't go in. If an old lady hadn't opened the door for me by chance, I probably wouldn't have been able to get in
Fifth, the accommodation we entered was disappointing. The air conditioner did not work properly (it was the end of July, when it was extremely hot) and there was not even a fan
❤️❤️Must read for those who are staying here❤️❤️ Of all the accommodations I've been to in my life (including the retreats during my school days), this was the worst

Visited with my family, stored our stuff in our rooms while walking around Firenze, and used our room, and the outdoor area at the back of the hotel, as a nice place to relax during some of the siesta, though slightly too far from the Center to do this after being in the city
Our room was very clean and was cleaned for us on our second day even though we only stayed 2 nights - nice surprise! Air conditioning in the room was fab. Lots of privacy, and we especially liked the outdoor garden area
There generally wasn’t anyone manning the front desk, so we had to go and find the owner to check out - however, this was only a small hotel with few staff so was to be expected, and really wasn’t a problem
Overall, a comfortable place, with all of the needed accessories. Coffee, and a simple but good breakfast. Our car had to be parked in a courtyard a short walk away, which we had to pay a little for
Came across this location last minute and we were welcomed with arms wide open. I loved the spacious room and beautiful outdoors seating area. Definitely will be coming back!!!
Coffee machine, milk and juices were all provided for us. The location was brilliant - situated on a quiet street only a short walk into the city centre

This residence is part of hotel Bonafice. It's not in the hotel but located in the building just in front of it. However you get to use all the hotels advantages. Friendly and helpful staff, fluent English
So cosy and intimate. Rosa is a great host and fluent in english. They have discounts in some of the supermarkets and can help you with table reservations and such. Breakfast includes the essentials.
The hotel offers luggage deposit if you want to visit the accommodation after check out, they also let you use the bathroom anytime if needed after check out and before you collect your luggage
Very nice, beautiful, old fashioned rooms (in a good way). Large bathroom with a bath (and shower option). Great location near the city and near parkings outside the ztl (limited traffic zone)
What a lovely property in the historic Florence! The staff and amenities are beyond expectation. We immediately wished we could have stayed another day! definite value benefit property ♡
Very much enjoyed Residenza Johanna. I looked forward to coming back to the cozy atmosphere and room at the end of the day. Staff was very friendly, helpful and thoughtful. Will come back!

Really a great clean comfortable place where to stay. The guys are great - they make everything they can to help.... Thanks again for your service - I had a fantastic vacation.
This is a great place where to stay while in Florence
When I finally got in, the door was so stiff that it wouldn't open properly, so I was really annoyed. There was no soundproofing at all. I could hear coughs and people talking in the next building
Good budget hotel, old but enough space and amenities if you just looking for a place to sleep and not particularly picky. The building is hard to locate. Staff was friendly.
However, the breakfast was delicious. Since there were no staff members on duty, it was really hard to get directions, and even when I called, I couldn't get through
Very large nice comfortable bedrooms - the palace has just been restaurated and looks really great and the service provided by Gianni and Carmine was literally outstanding

Great place! Spacious rooms and bathroom. They say they don't have a breakfast but there is a ton of snacky food in the kitchen. Everything is very clean and quiet so there is no problem going to sleep in the evening
We had a great stay at Relais Cavalcanti. The location is perfect - right in the centre of Florence. Anna and Francesca were fantastic hosts, the provided us with amazing tips on what to visit and and where to eat.
This is the BEST location at a good price. If you like independent travel with genuine Italian accommodation then choose this over a hotel. They change towels and clean everyday without being intrusive
I loved the rooms space. Very clean and quite. Great location. Good WiFi speed. Just be careful, no access for wheel chairs at all. Old building with stairs. Also be aware it is not hotel, no front disk 24/7.
What luck we had! Anna, and entire staff is wonderful-not in a "plastic" or fake way, but as warm human beings who certainly made up for what our other hotel had done. Rooms are spacious, clean, well-appointed
Yes this is not a hotel with breakfast and room service but it sure does feel like a hotel and there is a small pentry and a nice sitting room to enjoy a cip of coffee if needed

Only stayed one night but was very pleased. Only negative for travellers is that they do not have luggage room so beware and book luggage storage. There are plenty around the smn train station
Nice place and very friendly people. The bed we had wasn't that comfortable and shower water flow was a bit lacking. But we enjoyed our stay and the included breakfast was great! Excellent people at this place :)
Very friendly and welcoming! Great location just south of the Arno. Easy to walk to and from. Nice stores right next door to buy water from as well!
very kind personnel and really beautiful rooms. breakfast is simple but good, you feel home here!

Good shower since it was spatious and clean, and a good hanger for the towels. The service was good, nice staff, and the reception was open 24/7
we were three nights in this hotel in a quadruple room and the location is really fantastic. For what you paid, our room was large clean and the bathroom was really cute
Friendly and helpful Staff, good value for money, my family and I we will be back
The location is very central, near the new Central Market to visit. The rooms are a little spartan but the staff is always very friendly and helpful. Quality/price ratio very beneficial
I stayed 3 nights in this hotel and I must say that I was fine. The room I have always found it clean. The location of the hotel and near to the centre and the staff is very courteous.
It was also comfortable that you did not have to bring the key outside since you had to leave it in the reception. The location was top notch, in walking distance to whole of Florence and near the train station

Very helpful staff, flexible, easy going - especially the guy working there. Good price for a room in Florence, the basic needs were met, rooms were good enough, comfortable beds
The hotel is placed in one floor. Some rooms have they're own fridge and they'll have air conditioner if you go in summer.
The staff was a bit too informal, but for the price it gives enough quality.
I slept well here! And very convenient location
Good service and good prives. Very accebility.
The service is good, but the room is really small and and simple.

The staff was helpful in recomending places to go see and eat which were all pretty good!! Only complaint was paying in cash but there is an atm around the block as well as a supermarket which is helpful
Not only was it very affordable but also very close to the city centre and a 1 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio, our room had a stunning view that overlooked the river and galleria uffici
The room was clean and so was the bathroom, you had to pay for AC but we didn't find it necessary as the river provided a nice breeze that made the room mild
It is a place located near Ponte Vechio, it is an Bed system, clean, with Wi-fi. For 2 nights was exactly what we need!

Beautiful rooms in the heart of Florence! This hotel is located right across from its sister hotel, Hotel Ester
Clean small hotel in an amazing location. Near train station & eateries.
Good people, great breakfast, great location
The reception is in the opposite building. One modular kitchen in the common room. Attached toilet, good location and relatively cheap price. Luggage can be kept in the main reception (opposite building)

Awesome stay and host! The host, Massimo was a real surprise to meet. He is such a high-tech person for his age that he even has his own chat stickers! He was very eager to help us if we had any problems
The rooms are located in a gated community, are a bit small in size but in a very well maintained condition. The location is perfect, a few mins walk from Florence train station and the city center
Cards with breakfast were written with details to where and what to eat on them. You also have the Mercato Centrale (central market) if you want fruits/vegetables or other stuff to eat
Even shared with us some walking itineraries for the city's highlights and a restaurant app - Fork which came in very handy! Air conditioning was good, and wi-fi was good
All in all, I would definitely stay at Residenza Olimpo during my next visit to Florence and would definitely recommend this B&B for a value for money stay!
Well, it should not come out as a surprise as it is mentioned in all previous reviews - Massimo is a superhost and the greatest USP of Residenza Olimpo B&B

The room was so bright and fresh, and they'd left a lovely bottle of prosecco and cake for my partners birthday! Breakfast was lovely every morning, fresh tea and coffee could be ordered with the waiting staff which was always greeted with a smile
Thank you! Great hotel. Clean bright room! All amenities. Delicious breakfast and wonderful staff. Will be back
What a fabulous stay we had at this hotel. The room was lovely, very comfy bed and great air conditioning which cooled us down when we came back from exploring Florence in the hot weather
The breakfast was decent and will highlight again the staff in this hotel is very friendly. If you get a tariff of around €200-€250 for junior suite with terrace then it is fine
Beautiful boutique hotel, perfect for a long weekend stay! 15-20 minute walk into the city centre, near to the river and in a quiet part of the city. Staff were friendly and welcoming
The staff were exceptional, a special mention to Fabio who always went above and beyond. We mentioned we were going on a trip I’ve Day do needed a taxi booking for 630

The heart of Firenze! This could not be a more perfectly central location in the heart of Firenze! The device was wonderful and breakfast was great! When you step out of the lobby, you are 2-5 minutes from absolutely everything and our room was beautiful to come to each night! We will be back!
Our room was lovely, the staff was so kind and helpful, the breakfast was really good, actually, and the aperitivo in the evening was really great too! I’m so happy we stayed here and I cannot recommend it enough
This property is convenient to many parts of the city. The concierge service was excellent from recommendations for dinner to arranging parking and taxi services. The suite was large and beautiful
The best part was the incredible view of the Duomo right from my room—it was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to that view every morning made the trip even more special
The room is super big, the ceiling is high, the room is very beautifully decorated, and the sofa cushions are said to be changed every six months
Fabulous staff. Rooms well appointed and luxurious! Loved the toiletries provided. Breakfast was also excellent. I really enjoyed this stay.

They were very very very friendly and the baby really loved them! I hope they get to read this! The hotel was very close to the station (around the corner), so check in/out and travelling to other cities was very convenient
Hotel reception staff was friendly and professional. Rooms were clean, AC was good, showers and restrooms were good. 11 of us arrived after travelling from the states. There were adults and children 10 to 15
The service and attention to detail was impressive, made even more so by the very reasonable rates. Also, the location of the hotel was perfect for our walking tours. We will stay here next time in Florence.
They made accommodations for all of us and made several recommendations regarding the foods. Everyone got something different and we shared family style. Each meal was prepared to perfection
The food came out all at once (for a large party very impressive) all hot and delicious. The suggestions from the staff was enough fill everyone and also leave room for some delicious desserts
The room was decent for Italy and the pool and restaurant at the hotel made our trip more enjoyable

Super room , comfortable, computer available with internet access. The next "family" of the place (a few rooms). Very well located and very nice. The staff is kind, and gives good advice about place to visit.
A really warm and hospitable welcome from the host. Our room was characteful, homely and immaculately clean - as was the bathroom. There was an extensive choice of breakfast options - all fresh/good quality
Francesco the next day, a sensational person who came to remind our family of the care and attention they treated us! The breakfast is lovely and prepared with care by Francesco every day, with croissant, cheeses, parma, Italian espresso or cappuccino made to order, plus other delicious choices
The location of the hotel is very good, just a few minutes from the Santa Maria Novella train station (15 minutes walk) and the main attractions of Florence (Duomo and Central Market within 10 minutes)
The B&B is perfectly situated just a 15 minute walk from the centre/station so nice and quiet yet very reachable on foot. The host was very helpful with local recommendations
It's a amazing place to stay! Good location, the room is really good with everything you need, delicious breakfast and the owner is really friendly. Happy to choose Opera Boutique B&B for our stay in Florence!

You can look at their website and see pictures for yourself, so I'll share images for the keys you'll be carrying, the incredible view from the room, and the very small elevator for wheelchair users that are considering staying here
A very welcoming space in the very heart of Florence. You are literally 1/2 block from the Duomo you couldn’t be in a better spot for enjoying central Florence. And the unit was very well equipped with all we needed
Best location, best views, best apartment; the best in everything!!! Sarah and Antonio are excellent!! This was my 2nd time staying here and will stay here again without any hesitation!! This apartments have everything you need for a comfortable stay in Florence!
The one consideration you need to take into account is the noise factor early in the morning. I can live with the bells ringing (they provide you with earplugs) and the city waking up but the building works started at 7
Amazing location in the heart of Florence on Duomo square. We had a room with the balcony and Duomo square was just in front of us. Very helpful staff was always ready to help and answer for all our questions
The whole of the apartment meant there was enough space for the family to relax and have their own space if needed. The staff were extremely helpful and made the stay a lovely one

Wonderful location, close to the historical centre and near the bridges of Florence, rooms very well equipped, clean and modern, and the service and staff impeccable
A lot of variety and very fresh. The only thing is that the rooms are very small and the shower is literally in the room
But, most rooms in Europe, in centrally located hotels are very small so this we were expecting to be like that. The location of the hotel is amazing. In a few minutes you are close to major historical sites
Overall, we highly recommend it
The staff, especially Laura, were very nice and extremely helpful. My room was spotless and quiet. Breakfast was wonderful and had plenty of options.
Pros: Great location, 10 minutes to the station, just across the bridge to the main shopping area. Cons: Although there is an elevator, some rooms require very narrow stairs, so don't book if you have a big suitcase

Hotel was great, with all the amenities that i needed for my family of 4. Kitchen, freezer, refrigerator, air conditioner, and washer and dryer. Service was excellent and location was easy to get to.
Great stay, clean and very friendly staff. Great location for us with restaurants and shopping near by, would stay again. There are a lot of stairs but not a deterent for us.
The hotel is very cute, very clean. I recommended the hotel for the attention in all the services and is very nearly of all the principal atractions of Firenze.
Barbara and Marissa, the receptionists, were FANTASTIC! They were kind and friendly, and even gave us some amazing tourist activities. 10/10
