The Social Hub Florence Lavagnini

Very nice hotel, there's a lot going on. the room was clean, except for the bed sheet which had a blood stain. the staff is friendly, the only maintenance is very slow. they were supposed to come in 10 minutes, but realistically it took him a good hour to come and look at the electrical problem in the room. very nice view on the terrace with the pool. good cocktails and very friendly service. the journey to the city center takes approximately 20 minutes on foot. Nice location.

Excellent hotel if your in 20s-30s. Rey modern, incredible vibe, extremely friendly staff. Great rooftop pool and bar. That said, the rooms are TINY and barely fit the bed. The shower is literally 2ftx2ft and I had to T-Rex it. For couples in their 40s+, either get the biggest suite they have or stay elsewhere. If your 20’s-30’s, you’ll LOVE this place!

Great hotel. The pool and lobby were great places to hang out.
Two negative points:
- the bed was really hard
- they advertise a laundry self-service but 3/5 dryers were not working and 2/5 washing machine as well. The dryers that were ‘functioning’ did not dry anything so we had to get out in Florence to find another laundry service that we paid for and took 1-2 hours of our time.
I would recommend this hotel but only for short stays.

Amazing hotel! Super friendly staff and amazing facilities. The roof top pool and bar was offers a stunning view of Florence. We got an incredible experience for very reasonable price. The room was clean and comfortable with excellent brand for shampoo and body balm. The ceiling was tall so it feels very spacious. Definitely will come back!

This hotel is a wonderful choice for a comfortable stay, with a great vibe throughout. One of the highlights is the stunning rooftop lounge and pool area, offering breathtaking views of the city. There’s also a lovely café with options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, and the service is excellent.

Hotel provides washing and drying machines, which is incredibly convenient. There are quiet spaces to relax, and if you’re on a business trip, you’ll find areas to work as well.

Overall, it’s a delightful experience!

I stayed here for three nights and was having an amazing time. Appreciate all the staff's efforts in creating such a friendly vibe! The room, the gym, the laundry system, and the rooftop bar are all fabulous. The WiFi connection is great for digital nomads, and the co-working space is super cozy. I specifically appreciate the eco-friendly design everywhere, including the showers. I will miss this beautiful city and the social hub as well. Sending much love from Taiwan🫶🫶❤️

Very pleasantly surprised by how much we loved this place. Its old name The Student Hotel got me a bit nervous that it’d be more like a grubby hostel, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. There’s a nice mix of people, a very friendly vibe and comfy, decently-sized rooms. The pool is a nice bonus but the real ace up its sleeve was the rooftop bar which had a phenomenal view of Florence from the top. We ended each day watching the city from there and it felt very special indeed.

Stylish & clean hotel. Later on found out part of it is student residence, felt a bit out of place but overall good experience. Breakfast has good pastry and milk substitute option, it is a nice touch and considerate. Room is a small but sufficient. Around 10-12 minutes walk to the Santa Maria Novella train station. Tram right outside the hotel in a safe neighborhood. Easy access to the bus station as well.

I stayed for one night at this hotel during a short vacation in Florence. Florence is a very small town if this was in Rome this would’ve been considered city Central but but given the size of of the city this is slightly out of city Central. That being said it’s just a 10 minute walk to all the main locations and attractions and there is something nice of being slightly out of the hustle and bustle.
The hotel itself was designed for digital nomad, but many other travel can enjoy the amenities and the atmosphere, including business people as well as families . There is a lot of room to wander around to sit and work and even to play and there is a glorious rooftop bar and pool that is open in the season with magnificent views of the Domo and the rest of the city. The rooms are pretty basic but modern. Water bottles in boxes are provided for free. The breakfast is a step up from the traditional European breakfast as it also includes cooked eggs.
