The Social Hub Florence Lavagnini

I stayed here for three nights and was having an amazing time. Appreciate all the staff's efforts in creating such a friendly vibe! The room, the gym, the laundry system, and the rooftop bar are all fabulous. The WiFi connection is great for digital nomads, and the co-working space is super cozy. I specifically appreciate the eco-friendly design everywhere, including the showers. I will miss this beautiful city and the social hub as well. Sending much love from Taiwan🫶🫶❤️

Very pleasantly surprised by how much we loved this place. Its old name The Student Hotel got me a bit nervous that it’d be more like a grubby hostel, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. There’s a nice mix of people, a very friendly vibe and comfy, decently-sized rooms. The pool is a nice bonus but the real ace up its sleeve was the rooftop bar which had a phenomenal view of Florence from the top. We ended each day watching the city from there and it felt very special indeed.

Stylish & clean hotel. Later on found out part of it is student residence, felt a bit out of place but overall good experience. Breakfast has good pastry and milk substitute option, it is a nice touch and considerate. Room is a small but sufficient. Around 10-12 minutes walk to the Santa Maria Novella train station. Tram right outside the hotel in a safe neighborhood. Easy access to the bus station as well.

I stayed for one night at this hotel during a short vacation in Florence. Florence is a very small town if this was in Rome this would’ve been considered city Central but but given the size of of the city this is slightly out of city Central. That being said it’s just a 10 minute walk to all the main locations and attractions and there is something nice of being slightly out of the hustle and bustle.
The hotel itself was designed for digital nomad, but many other travel can enjoy the amenities and the atmosphere, including business people as well as families . There is a lot of room to wander around to sit and work and even to play and there is a glorious rooftop bar and pool that is open in the season with magnificent views of the Domo and the rest of the city. The rooms are pretty basic but modern. Water bottles in boxes are provided for free. The breakfast is a step up from the traditional European breakfast as it also includes cooked eggs.

The Social Hub Florence is a modern hotel, designed to meet all needs in an easy and enjoyable way. The location is conveniently near the heart of the city and everything is pretty much in walking distance. The rooftop terrace offers a pool, bar and stunning skyline views overlooking the city. We stayed for a long weekend and it was a great experience. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed in Florence 12/27-12/29 and this hotel is in the best location! 15-minute walk from the train station, 15-minute walk to Galleria dell’ Academia, and easy access to shops and restaurants. Very cute park across the street as well. Modern and eclectic interior, welcoming and friendly staff and bartenders! We also received a voucher for hot chocolates for booking during the holiday season and they were delicious. We would definitely stay at The Social Hub again!
