I won't talk about the facilities. It happened to be a heavy rainstorm in Milan on the day of check-in. Although the room didn't leak, the corridor was terrible. It was raining heavily outside and lightly inside. The water fell directly in the form of water columns. We had two rooms. The room assigned to my friend had no hot water on the first day. I took a cold shower with gritted teeth. I negotiated early the next morning and said that someone would be sent to fix it. It didn't work until the evening. They also told us that we had tried it ourselves, but it didn't work. There was no vacant room to change to us. My friend took a shower in our room. On the third day, we finally changed the room, but the air conditioner didn't work. I asked the front desk, and they said that there was a switch they controlled that they forgot to turn on. As a result, the air conditioner turned on around 11 o'clock and didn't start cooling until 2 o'clock in the middle of the night. I can only say that every time I negotiated, the attitude was very good, but it was useless. It may also be that we were unlucky. We lived in a broken room and compensated us with a day's breakfast. Oh, it was too miserable.

My stay at Holiday Inn Milan was disappointing. The room was extremely tiny, making it uncomfortable to relax or even move around easily. The service was quite poor—staff were not very attentive or helpful during my stay. On a positive note, breakfast was pretty good, and the location is convenient for exploring the city. However, the cramped room significantly impacted my experience, so much so that I decided to check out three days early and move to another hotel. Would not recommend if you value space and good service.

Recently stayed here while in Milan. Great location and service. Rooms were great. Connectivity to city and attractions is perfect. Parking is a little tricky to find if you plan to park your car.

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Milan – Garibaldi Station, an IHG Hotel, and had a great experience. The hotel is a manageable walk from the train station. We booked a family room for the four of us (with two teenagers), and it worked out really well. The beds were very comfortable — after a full day of walking around the city, I fell asleep quickly and woke up refreshed the next morning.

Breakfast was a real highlight. There was a wide variety of choices, and the coffee was delicious. The hotel also offers easy access to transportation into central Milan.

Overall, a comfortable and well-located option for families visiting Milan. We’d definitely consider staying here again.

The hotel is pretty good! But the room is too small for this price. We stayed for three nights. There is a tram station nearby, and it takes about 12 minutes to walk to the subway station. It is not far from anywhere. It is also very close to Chinatown, about 10 minutes walk. It may be a bit noisy at night because of the train passing by.

had an exceptional stay at the Holiday Inn Milan Garibaldi Station. The rooms were well-maintained, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay.

What truly stood out was the outstanding service provided by [Waiter's/Bartender's Kevin. This was my husband and Miya first trip to Italy and Kevin went above and beyond to make my experience memorable. Whether it was recommending a delicious cocktail at the bar or offering personalized tips for local sights, they were always eager to ensure I had the best possible experience. Their attention to detail and friendly, professional demeanor made a significant difference in my visit.

If you’re looking for a hotel with great service and a fantastic location in Milan, the Holiday Inn Milan Garibaldi Station is a perfect choice. I’ll definitely return!

The hotel is quite small. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Good spot for night life (lots of bars) 15 min away from China town.
Breakfast is not bad but if you want to have an omelet you have to pay extra.
Very small gym.
Overall service is what we paid for.

10 stars for the staff. Very very helpful. In entire Italy we travelled the team here have been very polite and friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but have all necessary things available. For iron you have to call every time. Breakfast is very very limited. Next to tram station. Laundry and grocery and a halal Indian restaurant 1min walking distance which was a blessing.

Best hotel for overnight/weekend stay. Solid service
17.11.2024
Stayed for 2 nights, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The room was dirty, with bodily fluids visibly on the wall, and the bathroom ceiling was covered in hanging dust.

On the second night, I returned to the hotel around midnight to find a group of three individuals loitering outside the 5th-floor elevator. I was carrying a large backpack with all my camera and laptop gear, and they immediately eyed me up and down. One of them approached me and started speaking in Italian. As I mistakenly walked in the wrong direction toward my room, I had to turn back, and they confronted me again. It was clear they were attempting to intimidate me, if not worse. I genuinely felt unsafe and believed they intended to jump me in the hotel.

I would not recommend this hotel due to both its lack of cleanliness and questionable safety. On top of that, the cost is absurd for the quality provided. I didn’t book this hotel myself—my company did—but upon learning the nightly rate, I was shocked at how overpriced it is for such a poor experience.
