Pros: Good location, good access to public transport.
*not a 4 star hotel by current standards* NH Milano touring nearby is significantly better.
Service: I’m a member with NH so it was nice to have a welcome bottle of Prosecco in my room. In terms of cleaning, they DO NOT change the sheets at all. They do not refill used items like coffee pods, you need to call for them. I called to ask for extra bedsheets because they did not put on new ones (old ones were stained), but I could not receive them because there was one person working at 5 pm and all the cleaning staff are gone. Do not expect good service here after that time.
Room: Wallpaper is coming apart, has stains, AC is okay. My worst issue is the room is incredibly loud at night and I could not sleep at all the first night. It sounded like cars were driving right by me and I was up on the third floor.
Gym: barely a gym very small
I think this was probably designated a four star hotel in the 90s - building is old though and services are more two star currently. I’ve been to other NH hotels and this was probably our lowest quality one so far.

Good location, great breakfast.
Terrible room temperature during our stay. I understand that supposedly there are city restrictions over the hotel use of AC but it was very unpleasant do spend the nights at 25 C, while outside temperature was between 15 - 20 C. While you can’t have AC must the ventilation act as heating? Reception said to open the window, which has a very restrictive opening, and didn’t improve the temperature but did add the street noise.
Another unpleasant surprise was after asking the reception to book a taxi to the airport. First info was 30 Euros but pending confirmation, as understood by my wife and me, and repeated by me. Then reception called my room to confirm the booking and informed it would cost 100 Euros! For a 15 minute ride on the early hours we were going. Uber was 45. I can’t say if it’s a general issue with Milan taxi industry or the hotel does not have the contact of the right riders that wouldn’t take advantage of tourists, but it was an unpleasant and stressful end to our trip.

Rooms are Ok, but nothing special, and no view to speak of (except to the next building) if you're into that. Service was good and polite, with the exception of the (apparently new) cleaners not refilling the toilet roll. Great location near a bunch of bars and restaurants and relatively close to Milano Centrale train station & the Mercato (15-25 min walk depending on route taken and pace)

When I was booking a room at the reception, the staff was very nice and committed
me one big room and one small room for 3 Adults and 2 Child. However, after I made the payment, their attitude changed, and I was given two very small rooms instead. They claimed that a big room was not available.
Additionally, there were no amenities in the room, not even an electric kettle or an iron. When I asked the reception for an iron, they said it was only provided in deluxe rooms and spoke to me very rudely. This was despite the fact that I had paid for a deluxe big room.

This hôtel is old and needs a proper renovation. It is noisy, I eared the water tubes all night. Toilet flush was not working, everything is old. The breakfast was terrible, from the coffee to fake juices, to bad food.

Nice hotel, a bit dated but it’s to be expected for that area. Friendly staff. One odd event was the security guard in the evening sniffing people as they came in from the smokers section, not sure why ? There was a faint smell of MJ outside but to audibly notice someone sniffing around guests was odd. Didn’t review this hotel negatively because of that

I stayed one night at IBIS and one night here. They are very different! The staff here are super nice, and the common areas are clean. The rooms need some attention, but overall, it is great. I highly recommend it.

NH Milano is located perfectly, walking distance from the central station. There are really nice restaurants around the hotel that we enjoyed very much! The room has high ceilings which is good however the room air circulation was a few times off, making it stuffy. The staff were always welcoming and helpful. I would go back.

It is an old hotel, but is clean and gives you the filing of a grandma's house, in a good way. The service was nice, the personnel very helpful. The positioning of the hotel is good. You have everything close. A good experience that I recommend.
