voco-Fiere, an IHG Hotel

I spent a month in this hotel, and overall it was a good stay. The premises are overall clean, they have some good amenities and even a spa on site. The staff was always friendly and helpful. However, as the hotel is not cheap and is on the higher end, I have to say some things were definitely missing. I had a suite and having a kitchen space yet absolutely no kitchen appliances, dishes or cutlery and not even a microwave was very inconvenient. We had a dining table yet were not able to make any or simply warm up our food. Even to drink a glass of wine, we had to use coffee cups or get them from the bar downstairs. In addition, when I got to my room and in the entire month, my floor was never cleaned once which seems a bit trivial to me since it was visibly dirty. In the suite, the bathroom is in the middle of the bedroom so if you're multiple people, you will have to leave the room for one to shower as the bathroom walls are see through. Finally, I am a huge fan of spa, so I was very excited about having one in the hotel. Unfortunately, their wet sauna is absolutely filthy, is covered in mold and smells really bad. The dry sauna is very nice, but broke down on my second week there (would not get very hot) and was never fixed. The pool was older, but well maintained and nice. As for the location, it is a little sketchy to walk around but if you have a car, it is convenient.
