I recently stayed one night at Hotel Sanpi in Milan and was pleasantly surprised by its lovely style, especially compared to some of the old-fashioned hotels I saw. My one-person bedroom was cozy with a smart TV, and I appreciated the nice decor of the bathroom. The hotel's patio, adorned with beautiful flowers, was a delightful spot to relax. Breakfast was impressive for Italian standards, offering a good mix of sweet and salty options. The location is perfect for a weekend stay in Milan, close to public transport and within walking distance to the center. Overall, a charming and comfortable stay.

The rooms here are smaller than London or Madrid but are bigger than Paris. The hotel needs to update the building and modernize their equipment. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is included.

Chose this hotel due its proximity to the centre and Milan Central station. Our one night stay was very good - good size room, excellent bathroom, friendly and efficient staff, very good breakfast. There is no restaurant which is absolutely fine but do avoid La Locanda dell’ Amore which is right when coming out of the hotel - the worst restaurant experience in two weeks in Italy. Il Carpaccio, however, left from the exit is excellent.

Nice little hotel, in a great location. The metro is a 5 minute walk away, airport 20 mins in a taxi and Milan Centrale a 10 min walk or 5 min taxi. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the area, and the hotel bar did good cocktails to enjoy in the courtyard. The rooms were simple but clean. We were in town for Taylor Swift and unlike other hotels in Milan, Hotel Sanpi didn’t add a zero to the price! The service from all the team was excellent throughout our stay.

We stayed there three nights in Apr/May 2024 and it was perfect. The rooms are nice and airy, the staff were extremely nice and accommodating. The location is slightly off the beaten path but close to Metrò and it allowed us to try local (non touristy) restaurants. Would def stay there again.

Dear all, this is not a 4-star hotel, this is maximum 2-star hostel.
- DON’T BELIEVE THE FOTOS ON THE HOTEL WEB, this is not how the rooms look like in reality. They are very tired, small, smelly, not isolated, so you can hear everything that is going on on the streets. The furniture is from early 60-s, some compartments are not working.
- location is close to the central station, but not the best one because of the strange and marginal public on the streets (usual habitat of the station area).
- TV in the room was not working.
Please don’t get mislead by the photos that you will find on official web. Lobby is the only decent place in this castle of sorrow and hypocrisy.

The old hotel bait and switch. I booked a Superior room and they put me in a room that is all painted blue and the paint is peeling off and wall damage. The room was old and tired. The furniture was beat up and tired. I complained and they moved me to another room that was much better but still not the same room as the internet pictures. The carpet in the hallways was old and not clean. The AC did not work and I was told that it was the whole hotel. By day 2 it was semi-working. Front desk staff was nice, the morning restaurant staff was nice and efficient; however one of the night bar tenders was terrible and rude. He was never around and they would call him and when he showed up he was rude. He complained and cursed about getting me ice…….. sorry dude get an ice maker for the guests or otherwise do your job.

I cant describe the amazing experience at Hotel Sanpi. I was here for 13 days as a solo traveler.
The staff treats you like part of they family.
They will go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant.
The Hotel is on a great location, extremely clean and the breakfast is amazing.
I highly recommend.

Hotel in a good location, about 15 minutes walk to the Milano Centrale - main train station. Metro and tram nearby.
The rooms are a bit outdated, but they are very clean and cozy - especially I must point out that the cleanliness is at a high level. The outdoor garden and the breakfast room are so beautiful, as are the breakfast staff. The breakfast is excellent, a large selection of salty and sweet, juices, coffee, yogurt, fruit. When I come back to Milan again I will stay at this hotel again because of its location and breakfast and hope to get a renovated room. Good value for the money.
