Had a very unpleasant experience at this hotel. The staff was rude, unpleasant and unhelpful to say the least. Know that if you book here you are paying solely for the location in Vatican city, nothing else is up to par for the price of the rooms.

Me and my mom booked a ‘suite’ here because the room was listed as having a bed as well as a sofa bed. When we pulled the sofa bed out to use that night we found it to be stained and dirty with old food all over it. We went to ask staff for blankets and linens and for it to be cleaned. Staff was nowhere to be found at the front desk so we got linens from the hallway closet and began to clean and setup the bed ourselves. A member of staff showed up while we were making the bed since I had texted them about it. When mentioned to the staff that the bed was dirty and had no linens she explained that this was because they did not expect anyone to use it (even though its listed as one of the room features) and they expected guests to just use the main bed. She was explaining this as she sat in the doorway making no effort to assist and watched me and my mom clean the dirt and food off the bed and add the linens. This situation was frustrating but the real kicker came the next day when upon returning to our room after breakfast we found a note from the staff typed in all caps telling us to stay out of their linen closet. I confronted staff about this rude and aggressive note and the staff member decided to argue with me about the situation pointing out again that we ‘weren’t supposed to use the sofa bed’ and arguing that staff was at the front desk for us to ask for the linens (please post the video of the staff at the front desk since you were so determined to argue this point with me and kept reiterating that you had a video of it). It was very unpleasant and not in any way respectful or acceptable. This is not the type of behavior I would expect from any hotel but especially one that we paid a high price for during new year’s week. Leaving a rude note in all caps from hotel staff is something I have never experienced. Having that followed up with a staff member arguing with me about why the sofa bed was dirty was just beyond insane. From the staff’s behavior and the cleanliness and state of the room we received I would never recommend anyone stay at this hotel.

The hotel was so lovely, the staff were very friendly! It was very modern and clean, modern and cheap compared to other hotels and so close to everything! Would definitely come back the next time. We also had a little balcony which was amazing in the mornings. It was very clean and the bed was big and super comfortable.

Perfect starting point for all tourist activities around the city centre of Rome and the Vatican. Staff is very friendly. Digital key - so no fear of losing it. The rooms are medium sized and tidy. Beds are very comfortable. At night it's silent but ear plugs are aditionally provided. No breakfast inhouse, but several breakfast locations are close nearby. 25 minutes walk to St. Peter's cathedral, 15 minutes to Pantheon and Trevi fountain. Bus lines to Colosseum and Forum Romanum start right in front of the building. We would definetely stay there again.

Excellent, clean, modern, and comfortable room. Very comfortable and soft bed. Modern and clean bathroom. They provide a kettle with a variety of teas. Very friendly and helpful staff. They offer luggage storage both before check-in and after check-out. The only drawback is that instead of a clothes rail, we would have preferred a closet with drawers.

The room was clean and beautiful, though the light in the shower was out and it sounded like it was supposed to be a "special" light or something so I was curious about this, but overall didn't inhibit the experience at all. Shower was still nice, bed was comfy, service was great, they are very accommodating and helpful. The location is great, walking distance to so many attractions, and the Piazza was right down the street with so many food options for dinner!!

I arrived early for check-in and was worried I'd have to leave my bags and wander, but fortunately the guests before me had left early and I was able to check in. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel with a route that will take you to the train to the airport, so still able to take an accessible right to the airport if you need. Would stay again!

Great location and great service. They were very kind and available in the reception. The room was clean, big enough, the balcony was nice as well. and the hotel even gave us a bottle of wine for our honeymoon in Italy. Totally would recommend.

We loved our stay at the Vanity Hotel. Thankfully our transportation from the airport could drop us off right at the front door. No dragging suitcases around. The staff was very helpful. They spoke pretty good English, which was helpful for us. The AC in room was awesome. The bed was comfortable and the room was very large. We had a small balcony overlooking the street below. It was beautiful. The location is perfect. We walked to the Vatican City, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and many more sites. We felt very safe. 100% would recommend. If you are looking for a calm quiet space to lay your head, this is it. There are only a few rooms and the check in desk. It's not a "gather" in the lobby and hang out place. You can do that outside at one of the many amazing spots close by.

Very good hotel in an old building with no signage. It is located on the second floor accessible by an elevator from another time. Small reception open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. with very dedicated young women. The room is small but we are only there to sleep! Very clean. We were delighted with our stay. Close to Piazza Navona, we walked to our booked visits, very convenient.

Limited move-in time. Unpleasant staff behavior. Therefore, they had to cancel the reservation. It would disturb other residents, as it would be inconvenient to be in a building with other apartments. The question is whether it's even possible to go outside after 11:00.
