The AC was turned on every time we would return from the city, and it meant a lot since the weather was so hot during our stay (August). Secure parking lot in front of the hotel is very spacious and comfortable (though not covered). It is free of charge and we didn't have troubles finding a free space even after midnight. The room itself and bathroom are very spacious. Room was cleaned daily.
Breakfast has room for improvement (needs variety).
Nearest metro station might be considered too far for some (10-15 mins walk), but the connection with city center is good (metro and bus).

Generally the hotel was ok, but: I had cash in my belongings that were in the room. Some of that money was stolen. The hotel staff did absolutely nothing about it, didn’t apologize, and didn’t investigate the incident in any way.
Moreover, the city tax is not included in the room price, which is a significant additional charge that you only find out about upon checkout.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in my entire travel life. Wi-Fi doesn’t work properly, equipment and general facilities outdated. Ac’s do not work! They had the biggest mosquitoes I have ever seen my life, and I mean, I am from Nigeria and mosquitoes shouldn’t be a worry, but this was a very terrible experience. Called the staff to complain about the AC’s not working and he had the effrontery to tell a lie, saying, “it is the policy of the City Council not put on AC’s in July “ 🙄 Ridiculous attempt to hide their inefficient facilities! I regretted leaving the Black Hotel for this place because I wanted to be closer to town 😡. The hotel is definitely not a 4* more like 1* 👎🏿. Loved the location 🫣

Reception staff were nice and helpful. Hotel needs updating. Windows don’t lock. No air. Breakfast adequate. Room and hallway floors disgusting. Wore slippers in the room. Not a 4 star hotel at all. They couldn’t handle their reserved guest for dinner even though there were empty tables.

Robbers and thieves. Do not stay here. My mother had her purse stolen from the hotel restaurant during breakfast on the day she was checking out. Lost her passport, wallet, phone and more. Hotel staff was extremely unhelpful. Didn’t want to help her or review security footage. Definitely an inside job.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life. The room looks dirty. All the equipment are outdated. I can't imagine how you guys treat your customers with broken toilet, smell shower curtain, and dirty floor carpet. It is not worthy with money. The hotel does not have a swimming pool neither a fitness room. Why are you guys 4*?

Interesting location, a long way from the city but with bus and train options close by.
Rooms are quite aged, but clean and well serviced.
Avoid the top floor if you are bothered by noise as it sounds like the air-conditioning for the whole hotel sits just above, on the other hand the air-conditioning in the room did work.
For eating I suggest one of the Cafes a couple of streets down, rather than the in-house restaurant. The service was very pleasant but the food was only average.
The continental breakfast was reasonable except for the juices, which were more like cordial.

It is close to the university Roma Tre.
Furniture in the hotel and the rooms is dated/broken and could use an update. The electrical outlets are all with the old Italian standard. To charge your computer with the standard European plug you need to bring an adapter. WiFi is slow as well.
Breakfast was included but minimalistic. Probably nicer to fetch something at the cafe don’t the road.

Travelers, beware! The hotel is outdated, located god knows where. There is nothing nearby if you want to grab a bite or have dinner. Forget about taking a nice walk in the evening.
I do not recommend hotel restaurant either; extremely limited options and food that has no taste.
It was booked by the tour company so we had no choice. Otherwise, I wouldn’t stay here for free. Look elsewhere!

Disclaimer, I'm writing this review through the lens of an American touring Europe.
Pros:
- Huge shout-out to Jonathan for getting hot water at midnight for my wife and I to be able to have tea. Customer service at other hotels has not been the greatest so this was just awesome to experience. Thank you Jonathan, we appreciate your kindness!
- Breakfast was busy due to the large groups but overall had a decent selection of fruits, cereals, yogurt, breads, juices, coffees, teas and hot food (sausage, eggs, etc)
- Location is quiet and about 10 minutes from the bus or train.
- The room had a fridge (unsure if it was working)! The hotel also provided 2 complimentary waters (1 regular and 1 sparkling) which was nice!
- Be sure to ask for city maps at the front desk! They are very helpful as you navigate around Roma!

- Rooms and various areas could use a refresh. New carpet and better lightning would go a long way to making the place more inviting.
- Some room doors can be difficult to open
