As per any European hotel the room was quite basic, but VERY clean and comfortable enough. The location was brilliant, we managed to get everywhere we wanted by walking and it as very central to everything. Easy to navigate to and from. All the front desk staff were really friendly and welcoming.
Window (at the fromt) offered a great view. The lift was very small and usually chose the stairs instead, except for when we had our luggage!
In the room there is a safe, no iron and the amenities do not include a conditioner so pack that if you usually use it! I would stay at this hotel again.

The Diplomatic Hotel is perfect, you get exactly what you pay for. We stayed for 5 nights at the hotel and every single day the room was cleaned and the towels were changed. The air conditioning was also great given the time of the year when we visited Rome. The location is also ideal for people who choose to walk to all the historic sites or to take the bus since there is a bus stop right infront of the hotel.

I booked this hotel last minute. The location was excellent. We could walk to most landmarks in 20-30 minutes. The hotel was reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. The staff were friendly. The hotel was very clean. We didnt spend much time in the hotel but it was perfect for us. I would recommend.

Top shelf staff...helpful in finding local hotspots and navigating our trip to Rome. Tiniest elevators I have ever used! Beds too flat. Loved the location.

I haven't stayed long enough to criticize the service but the room was average. It was okay.
Location is perfect. You can walk anywhere in the city centre. Close all the castles, Roman Forum, Collesium, Pantheon which are all located close to eachother.

We like the rooms, clean and spacious....people from the hotel very friendly and they help you with everything you asked..

They was average, rooms were clean and nice, we had no noise or smell issues.
Bathroom was clean with a tub there were some issues with the water temperature which was changing by the second 😄
As for the breakfast it was a bit below average in quality as well as diversity.

We stayed for 6 nights in late June. The location is perfect: you can walk to all the major sights in Rome. Room was spacious and clean, and the AC was great. Breakfast was typically Italian and good quality. Best of all were the front desk staff: always attentive and super helpful with orienting us to Rome, calling for taxis etc. Highly recommended!
