Hotel Relais Dei Papi

It is a good hotel in a perfect location and it is affordable as well. If I ever go back to Rome, probably I will stay in the same place. The employees working at the reception are super helpful

The room was decent—nothing special, but clean. The bathroom quality varies depending on the room. Unfortunately, mine had a moldy ceiling this week, while others were fine. It seems like my bathroom is due for a renovation, but they haven't done it yet. Breakfast options: toast, kind of roll, cheese, ham etc. Nothing special but you won't get hungry. On the positive side, the terrace view was amazing, and the location offers great connections to anywhere in Rome.

We booked this hotel for a 6-nights stay and it was overall a pretty good experience.

The staff was extremely nice, friendly and helpful. They clearly understood the agreement about how to behave with clients.

The rooms are clean, big enough. Ours had the shower in the bedroom space, which is kind of disturbing but didn’t bother us that much. We had a locker and fridge in our room.

The breakfast is okay, it starts at 7:30 (which is a little bit late for me if you want to enjoy the touristy attractions before everyone without an empty stomach) and lasts until 10 am

The location is pretty good, you’re 10 min away from most of the bus stops to the city center (20-25 min bus ride to most attractions) and 15-min walk away from the Vatican with all its museums.

The hotel also have a great rooftop with a magnificent view of the city, that features a cozy space to relax and a bar serving different beverages. We even got the opportunity to watch soccer matches of the European championship.

Overall, Relais dei Papi is a pretty good place to stay at, without any kind of luxury services but just the necessary to spend a good stay in Rome, I would definitely recommend.

Tourist hotel with much going for it and a bit missing too.
Great location, spotlessly clean, 24 hour concierge, and nothing is too much trouble.
So all good there. But can't switch Sky TV to English, no gentle side lights, and no tea making in room.
No big deal, but why spoil a good experience for such trivial issues .

Very good location, buses, metro and most of the attractions quite close, 6 min to Vatican. Clean rooms with super comfortable bed. Reception is on 4th floor. Beautiful terrace.

Good location, 10 minutes walking to Vatican City.
Reception staff were amazing.
On the top of the room they have a terrace with a bar , with a nice view over the Basilica St. Peter.

A nice hotel 🏨 in a good location in Rome. I paid 238.20 euro for 3 nights here with breakfast excluding tourist tax. The hotel is good value for money with a rooftop garden on top floor, gym and massage services available. The highlight of the hotel for me was the rooftop garden which gives you great views of the city of Rome. The hotel breakfast was nice and there was a good selection available. The scrambled eggs though were not hot enough. The hotel room was nice albeit a tad small with a decent shower available in the room. The staff were helpful at all times. I would recommend staying here
