The room was decent—nothing special, but clean. The bathroom quality varies depending on the room. Unfortunately, mine had a moldy ceiling this week, while others were fine. It seems like my bathroom is due for a renovation, but they haven't done it yet. Breakfast options: toast, kind of roll, cheese, ham etc. Nothing special but you won't get hungry. On the positive side, the terrace view was amazing, and the location offers great connections to anywhere in Rome.

We booked this hotel for a 6-nights stay and it was overall a pretty good experience.
The staff was extremely nice, friendly and helpful. They clearly understood the agreement about how to behave with clients.
The rooms are clean, big enough. Ours had the shower in the bedroom space, which is kind of disturbing but didn’t bother us that much. We had a locker and fridge in our room.
The breakfast is okay, it starts at 7:30 (which is a little bit late for me if you want to enjoy the touristy attractions before everyone without an empty stomach) and lasts until 10 am
The location is pretty good, you’re 10 min away from most of the bus stops to the city center (20-25 min bus ride to most attractions) and 15-min walk away from the Vatican with all its museums.
The hotel also have a great rooftop with a magnificent view of the city, that features a cozy space to relax and a bar serving different beverages. We even got the opportunity to watch soccer matches of the European championship.
Overall, Relais dei Papi is a pretty good place to stay at, without any kind of luxury services but just the necessary to spend a good stay in Rome, I would definitely recommend.

Tourist hotel with much going for it and a bit missing too.
Great location, spotlessly clean, 24 hour concierge, and nothing is too much trouble.
So all good there. But can't switch Sky TV to English, no gentle side lights, and no tea making in room.
No big deal, but why spoil a good experience for such trivial issues .

Very good location, buses, metro and most of the attractions quite close, 6 min to Vatican. Clean rooms with super comfortable bed. Reception is on 4th floor. Beautiful terrace.

Good location, 10 minutes walking to Vatican City.
Reception staff were amazing.
On the top of the room they have a terrace with a bar , with a nice view over the Basilica St. Peter.

A nice hotel 🏨 in a good location in Rome. I paid 238.20 euro for 3 nights here with breakfast excluding tourist tax. The hotel is good value for money with a rooftop garden on top floor, gym and massage services available. The highlight of the hotel for me was the rooftop garden which gives you great views of the city of Rome. The hotel breakfast was nice and there was a good selection available. The scrambled eggs though were not hot enough. The hotel room was nice albeit a tad small with a decent shower available in the room. The staff were helpful at all times. I would recommend staying here

During our stay, we tried two rooms on two different floors.
You can hear everything in the hallways - poor sound isolation.
Septic smell coming from the bathrooms in both rooms - only possible to breathe with an open window (and it was cold).
Jacuzzi in the 2nd room ok, but it seems it is cleaned only from outside, as after we used bubbles, dirty foam slowly appeared without us being inside the tub yet.
Breakfast and location were ok.
For the price? Big NO.

Not very LGBTQ+ friendly for tourists. We understand that cultures may be different however we do not need to discuss our sleeping arrangements to the front desk worker while there were other customers waiting to check in. My wife and I booked a double room, with one bed. Giuseppe, the front desk worker proceeds to tell us that he upgraded our room to a triple with two beds that way we can sleep together or separate, whatever we choose. He then proceeds to laugh. Our reservation came with free breakfast however when we asked about it, he explains that it is not included but if we wanted breakfast he will charge 7€ instead of 9. We thought this was strange because our receipt said free breakfast. Fast forward to our room, the bed was mediocre and kept separating down the middle throughout the night. The showers and bathroom were nice however ran out of hot water quick. The location was amazing, great food within the area with not a lot of tourist activity. 15 minute walk to the Vatican and 30 minutes to colosseum, etc. the shuttle from the hotel was also pretty strange considering I was charged two different amounts for my arrival and departure. For the trip to the hotel I was charged 60€ however the trip to airport I was charged 70€. Pretty strange considering we took that same route to the airport.

The hotel staff were all charming and friendly. The room was very clean and quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. For a not so big gym, it had everything you may need. Everything was great!

This 3 star Hotel is 15 minutes walk to the Vatican City. NOT suitable for disabled, as you need to walk up 8-10 steps to get a lift. The room is compact and they have a Shower in the Bedroom (Yes in the bedroom), with a separate toilet. Learn to operate the shower, as it can be difficult for some. The breakfast was good. To catch the sightseeing Tour buses its a good 20-25 minutes walk to the other side of the river. Buy your tour tickets outside, and negotiate a reduction.
The location can be good if you are mobile and able to walk. The Superstore next door is good and also has a supermarket to get cheaper supplements e.g. water, snakes etc.
If planning to visit inside the Vatican, try to get there before 9.00am to avoid the long ques.
