Domina Popolo B&B in Rome

I had an exceptional stay at this property and can wholeheartedly recommend it. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of an area that truly deserves to be explored. Everything of interest is within easy reach, making it an ideal base for discovering the surroundings.

The accommodation itself exceeded all my expectations. The property is extremely well maintained, with an atmosphere that immediately makes you feel comfortable and welcome. Cleanliness is clearly a top priority here the rooms were spotless on arrival, and the daily cleaning service was impeccable, something that really stood out during my stay.

Another highlight was the attentive and caring host, who went above and beyond to make sure guests felt well looked after. That personal touch made the experience even more enjoyable.

What impressed me most, however, was the authentic Italian style of the rooms. The design and décor are refined, genuine, and charming, creating an ambiance I honestly did not expect to find. It was a beautiful surprise and made the stay feel even more special.

Without hesitation, I will return to this property on my next visit. It’s a rare find that combines location, comfort, authenticity, and genuine hospitality at such a high standard.

Perfect location great prompt service very secure friendly & helpful staff close to metro and piazza de Popolo

We were very pleased with the conditions. The triple room that we booked was big, with comfortable beds and a fully functional bathroom. The room was cleaned every day. We spoke with the owner on the phone only, but his very kind mom was there when we arrived and somebody else was there when we left. We had no problems whatsoever concerning the use of keys or access to the room. Compared to other B&B in Italy where we stayed before, the breakfast was OK. Coffee, tea, milk, juice, jam&butter, a selection of sweet pastries. Very close to Piazza del Popolo.

Domina Popolo B&B was in a great location. We are so glad that we booked this location because it was so close to everything that we wanted to do. The host didn’t speak English, but that didn’t stop us from communicating with her as we used google translate. The room was a bit out of date, but you have to overlook that with the warm welcome we received and the location.

Just returned home from my stay in Rome. Absolutely loved my stay in Domina Popolo, from before my arrival Alessio was extremely helpful. Comfortable bed, great night's sleep. Close to shops and restaurants. Loved my stay definitely would book again if coming back to Rome. Thank you Alessio and family.

This B&B is located in a convenient location and is clean! Everything in the room was in good condition. The best part was that the owner/contact person was super friendly and helpful. He would reply to my messages right away or would call (via whatsapp). I definitely recommend this if you are looking for a lowkey stay in the heart of Rome. Its close to metro stations, and all the tourist attractions (Colosseum, Roman Forum, Vatican City, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps etc.) is within 30-40 minute walk. There's many cute little restaurants around and although it is a busier part of Rome, its super quiet at night. They offer coffee and little breakfast pastries/cookies which is perfect if you are always on the go. They have a little table and a section in the refrigerator which they put a juice and milk and yogurt for the guests. Truly a wonderful stay!

Stayed two night due to the proximity to Popolo Plaza. It's a couple of mts away from the Popolo Plaza square and Euro 50 by cab from FCU Airport.

Hotels around this area was quite pricy. Hence I opted this property and was not disappointed. Rooms are basic but neat and clean. Shower area is also maintained cleanly. There were few snacks and coffee available in th3 dining room. Aircon was working well. Room had a small TV with all Italian channels.
It's located in a building on the ground floor with a small signage. Upon arrival it was little difficult to notice the property, however after a couple of mts I found. The owner and his wife were very friendly and supportive.

It's a basic property but spotlessly clean and free from any frills.

Housekeeping cleaned the room the next day, appreciated. Beds were comfortable. The property is like Euro 180 per night, little pricy for a B & B. However no much options around.

Only issue what I had is th3noise from the nearby room, late night (2am) the lady was talking loud on the phone and the TV was also loud. Had slight issues with internet a night, but was resolves the next day.

B&B at 2/3 minutes walk away from Piazza del Popolo which it means near the heart of Rome. Underground and buses are just around the corner. Staff is cool and really helpful. I'm gonna give it 4 and not 5 stars because, sometimes, our room was too noisy because of the nearness with others guests.
