Nice hotel, good location. Overall, I really liked it!

The rooms are decorated in a classic Italian style: antique furniture, quality textiles, marble in the bathroom. They clean neatly. The nice thing is the panoramic rooftop terrace.

Excellent hotel! In my opinion, a very nice structure in a retro style, welcoming and comfortable. The strategic location, a stone's throw from Via Cola di Rienzo, close to the Vatican, Castel S. Angelo.
Subway a stone's throw away, possibility of parking the car inside at a cost of 20 euros per day. Very kind staff, both sweet and savory breakfast, very kind and affable waitress, a beautiful view in the breakfast room located on the top floor.
I have stayed in other hotels in Rome, but I liked this one more than the others!!! When I have the chance I will book again at the Farnese!!!

Overpriced, shabby hotel. Left earlier. 300/night for a tiny, shabby, smelly single room in a basement, door 10cm next to the coffin sized elevator, in a tiny corridor in the basement. Lukewarm water in a tiny, leaking shower cabin. No duvet, thin wool blanket only. AC is not really functional. Single stained glass aindow facing a wall and a pavement. WiFi is very slow as well.
I left early because I could not stand that room and, despite my calm complaints, the hotel would charge me for the second night because they can. they feel they disclosed everything in advance and the fact that I don’t like their service is not really their fault :)
Worst hotel I stayed in a long time.

Unfriendly staff, limited breakfast, small (basement) room and the shower water turned cold after a few minutes. Do not recommend.

Very expensive according to what we got. There was no hot water all day and the owner tried to mix us up. The breakfast is poor and stingy, everything is very measured in this hotel and it is noticeable. Very rude staff. The rooms are crowded. don't come

We did not stay at this hotel, but I’m choosing to write a review to express my appreciation for the kind gentleman at the front desk. After a long day of touring the Vatican Museum and St. Peter’s Basilica, we were waiting for the train at the nearby metro station when it was unexpectedly shut down. My sons wanted to walk the two miles to our hotel but it was late and when I saw this lovely hotel, I decided to go in and ask if they could call us a taxi. The gentleman at the front desk could not have been kinder. He drew me a map to the correct bus stop, made sure I knew which bus and the direction it would be heading, and even reminded me to guard my belongings on the public transit. We were very appreciative!

Terribly rude staff. Booked through hotels.com using the option pay at hotel. I always use this. At least once a month. They take a credit card and then you pay at hotel. Always works perfect. This hotel immediately tried to charge me £398, then they tried to £240, then, £240, then £140. They then emailed telling me I have to pay or they will cancel. They said how can we trust customers to come. I said it’s a feature on hotels.com, I woke up to a rude email and my booking cancelled. Terrible staff.
