Hotel Eliseo

I've stayed in 2 star hotels better than this one. Calling this a 4 star hotel is an offense. Rooms are old, dirty, dusty. Disgusting. Mattress are tough and uncomfortable. Bathroom floods like Piazza San Marco. Extremely disappointed. Would never come back nor recommend.I wish I could share pictures to illustrate what I'm trying to explain here....

Would not reccomend. Staff are kind and helpful, but the rooms in this hotel are tiiiiiiny. bathroom shower was horrible and constantly flooded/splashed my walls and floor. Breakfast was bad

Very unpleasant stay in this otherwise beautiful building. The room was full of ants, who eventually made it to our travel bags. The shower cabin was covered with filth around the doors. In the bed there was this old blanket instead of a normal conforter. The unsticking wallpapers were giving a kind vintage vibe somehow.

I’ve stayed in many hotels, and the mattress was by far the worst mattress I have ever slept on in any hotel. Worse than the futon I slept on in college. And my room stank. Very musty smell. Of course it’s a good location… but because of this I think the hotel has let themselves go a bit.

The worst experience of all times. We checked in at 01:00 in the morning tired and weary. A very unfriendly unwelcoming receptionist took us in. The room was old and disgustingly smelly. Everything in it was old, overused and looked unhygenic. The bed was too small and uncomfortable. The windows are not soundproofed so we were unable to sleep. The bathroom was really bad. The breakfast was the same every day and all sorts of food on the buffet didn't exceed 10 things. All the food was of rhe cheapest worst sorts.

On our second day I asked a staff member if we could change our room and he replied that this is our best room. Well buddy: if that ist ur best, I sure hell can't even imagine what ur worst looks and smells like.
I was before in Rome and I stayed in a 2 star hotel. It was better in every singel thing than this one. In which universe is this hotel a 4 star one?!!!!

Warning this is not a four star hotel. The room was small, dirty, old and had no air conditioning. I was greeted by a host of dead ants as pictured in my review. The walls are paper thin and you can hear people from both inside and outside of the hotel. Half the sockets in the room don't work. The bed is very old and the headboard is just lying against the wall, it's not even attached to the bed. Some of the wallpaper is falling off. There's also just an exposed electric box and what appears to be some blood on the wall.
