Nice hotel in a good location. The area around the hotel is pretty dirty with a lot of graffiti… at night we felt pretty nervous to walk around but it may be ok? The hotel is very nice with good room size in Europe. It’s sad to see Rome so dirty and full of graffiti.

For those wanting a modern hotel close to the train station, this place is perfect.
The rooms are spacious and up-to-date, the rooftop bar is a lovely place to end your day and location is perfect for those using the train to the airport or to other parts of Italy.
Just keep in mind that you are a good distance walk from the main attractions.

Great hotel, breakfast was good but not great. We liked the location, but was quite a walk from the shopping areas. In general though we felt it was equal distance to many things and therefore a nice location. Rooms and service was definitely great.

Great area, close to world class sites, but far enough away from tourist trap restaurants. Friendly staff and a nice rooftop bar. One thing that needs some work is the RT Bar requires a reservation - we were rudely asked to wait for what was clearly many open tables. Once we sat, we watched a parade of guests sit down at an open table, then asked to leave and wait, and then get a seat a short time later. Annoying and confusing. It’s a bar, it should be first-come/first-serve. Nice/modern rooms. Monti district is fun and this hotel is VERY near the main train station. You can easily walk down a short hill with your bags if necessary. We took a car, but not needed. Staff at the desk is very helpful and friendly, with good suggestions for restaurants.

The DoubleTree Rome Monti is fabulous! The hotel is conveniently located close to the train station and within easily walking distance to many historical sites. The hotel is extremely clean and you could not ask for a more welcoming staff. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect. They are so professional and I just cannot say enough about how well we were treated. The breakfast is AMAZING. So, so many choices. AND of course the warm chocolate chip cookie!!

Sufficiently situated to metro station, well-appointed room and lovely staff across the front desk to the restaurant and bell boys. Only downer perhaps was the incessant loading/unloading/light construction or road works that went on through the night at a neighbouring building/area. I stayed 4 nights and it was ongoing through all those nights. It will wake a light sleeper especially if you prefer to keep your windows open on a winter night. The somewhat solution was keep the windows shut and a/c on. Breakfast was very decent. Overall a pleasant enough stay and no qualms revisiting when in Rome.

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at this DoubleTree. The hotel is very new and clean. The lobby is beautiful and the service we received was so far above and beyond. It made our visit to Rome feel truly special.

The location is amazing as it’s close to the Rome attractions and it’s also close to the main train station.

Our room was excellent. Cleanliness is extremely important to us, and I can say that we felt very refreshed staying here for a couple nights during a long two week trip through Europe. I would absolutely stay again!

Love it here! We have stayed her 2 times now and have loved it both times. It’s a super nice hotel in a great location. The breakfast is so yummy!! The staff are great too!
