Hotel degli Artisti in Rome

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Degli Artisti! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and eager to help. Check-in was quick and effortless, and our room was spotless and beautifully decorated. We especially loved having two separate bathrooms — such a thoughtful touch!

A special mention goes to Vasco, the bartender, who truly exceeded our expectations. He was incredibly friendly, speaking English with me and Spanish with my wife, which made us feel right at home. His kindness and professionalism were a big part of what made our stay so enjoyable.

Great hotel in the middle of everything. You can walk to many places- Trevi and Pantheon are very close from this place. Lots of restaurants and cafes near by. The rooms are clean and service is great as well. We recommend this to anyone coming to Rome. We traveled with two boys and the had great time as well.

The staff was fantastic and incredibly friendly. Alex at the front desk was very helpful and much appreciated. The breakfast was incredibly good and the rooms were very clean. Great location if you want to visit all the big landmarks. Would definitely stay here if I visited Rome again.

The hotel has lovely decor with a combination of a traditional, old fashioned feel with modern touches. The lounge on the roof was great to relax in the evening for some fresh air and a beverage. The staff was very kind, helpful, and attentive. There was much to do within walking distance or a short taxi or metro ride from the hotel. I would definitely repeat.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff here from the front desk folks (Christina!) to the breakfast servers to the rooftop bar service. Everyone made it feel like they were excited to see us and help us! My wife has mobility issues so the stairglide (chairlift) was a a major reason for us to consider this hotel in the first place. Pricing was reasonable. Our rooms were well attended to by the maid service. The rooms are not the most spacious but what you would expect for a city hotel in Europe. The location was quite close to the Spanish Steps. Taxis were easy to get as well. Grateful to have found this place!

I am unable to put into words how amazing this hotel is. It begins with the amazing staff. The front desk personnel were there to help at every twist in our trip. We had some lost luggage and they were instrumental in helping resolve the issue by speaking Italian and getting our case escalated. It has already been lost for 4 days, we would never have seen that bag again if it hadn't been for the front desk staff. The rooftop bar is stunning and the service again impeccable. The breakfast was a buffet with something for everyone including cereal for the little ones.

This is a must stay for visiting Rome. The walk to Trevi Fountain and shopping is maybe fifteen minutes. There are so many great restaurants near and the pricing is much better than down by the fountain.

Come for the rooftop views and location, stay for the top tier service.

The hotel is beautiful and our room was extremely comfortable. In addition, the staff were amazing - friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful. In fact, the owner's daughter recommended a beautiful beach for us to visit.

In particular, I would like to put the spotlight on Alex. In all my years of traveling around the world, I have never before experienced the level of service he provided during our stay. From arrival to departure, he repeatedly went above and beyond the call of duty to take care of our needs.

Two specific examples I would like to share:

1) We experienced a complication with our pre-arranged transportation. He made multiple calls to the company, on our behalf, to resolve the problem.

2) He also arranged transportation for us to a beach at Santa Severa. While we were on the beach, I received a call from the transportation company questioning the previously agreed cost of our transportation. I called Alex and, once again, he called the company, as well as our driver, to resolve the misunderstanding. In his words, "It will be taken care of. You just enjoy your time at the beach." Sure enough, it was resolved!

Alex demonstrated a true dedication to ensuring guests, like my wife and myself, enjoy a hassle-free experience. Again, never before have I experienced such amazing service from anyone.

We had a wonderful vacation.

We originally planned to stay for 5 days, but it was booked. When we opted to stay for one night to check out the hotel on the way back through Rome. It's a really well appointed 4 star hotel with friendly staff, a nice little rooftop bar and great rooms. It's also very convenient to the touristy hot spots while being just a step away and close to a large park. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed for 4 days. Exceedingly friendly, polite staff who recognized us and knew our name and room number after 1 day! Breakfast wonderful. Hill leading up to front door a tough climb after a full day. Beds too firm for me. Easy to order food delivery but no on site restaurant
