A hidden gem nestled in the heart of Rome. We actually stayed there twice, one day before heading to Tuscany for my son’s wedding, and for 4 days after. The staff, Nicole, Alec, Francesca and our new friend, Vasco, deserve so many kudos!! Nothing was too big or small for them to handle with a suggestion, recombination or helping hand.
The rooms were lovely and immaculate.
The rooftop patio and bartender, Dimitri, is quiet, serene and a wonderful setting to take a breath before or after an active night.
The breakfast offered more delicious options than I have ever seen at any upscale hotel.
As you can read, I highly recommend this treasure to anyone looking to be impressed with a warm and inviting home-away-from-home hotel❣️

Room a bit on the small side, but close to everything worth seeing in Rome and such attentive and warm service. Staff always smiling and happy to help.

While in Rome on a trip with my mother, we stayed at the Hotel Degli Artisti. The location was perfect for getting to see all that Rome had to offer. Walking distance from the Spanish Steps and also from the metro line, the location was ideal.
The hotel itself was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and the linens were soft. The shower had good water pressure and the cleaning staff made sure to restock all items as necessary.
The rooftop bar was nice, although disappointing that we could not enjoy it with our own purchased beverages. We really did not feel like paying hotel bar prices to sit up there and enjoy the view.
The complementary breakfast in the morning sufficed and offered a variety of pastries and savory options. It definitely ended up saving us money on our trip as we did not have to purchase coffee or breakfast out.
The staff that we interacted with ranged pleasant and helpful to cold and indifferent. It seemed that most of the women who worked at the hotel were kind and engaging while most of the men seemed annoyed and bothered.
All in all, if I came back to Rome, I may or may not stay here again.

A wonderful hotel with excellent service. Very friendly staff from the bell hop to desk clerk. The breakfast was very good and the best part was the roof top bar with great view. The hotel is close to the Spanish steps and the Trevi Fountain. I had my whole family with me but a week or two with just my wife would be wonderful romantic stay.

Zero complaints.
We stayed here for 5 nights and it was worth every penny.
- Walking distance to the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish steps. We barely ever used any other mean of transportation, even when we went as far as The Vatican.
- Super friendly and helpful staff. They gave us a free welcome drink and a list of recommendations for places to eat. We tried one of them and it was good.
- Very clean room and bathroom. I would probably ask for a TV with access to YouTube but that’s just a suggestion.
- Delicious and complete breakfast. It has anything you might want: cereal, bakery, eggs, fruits, juice, coffee, tea, cheese, etc.
- Some people will complain about the “uphill street” but it’s barely a few steps. Unless you’re carrying very heavy luggage while literally walking from the station you won’t even notice (not recommended, it’s a 10min taxi ride).
Would definitely stay again if I was ever back in Rome.

This is a quaint hotel off the busy part of Rome but very quiet. The bathrooms have been renovated and the rooms are very clean. The buffet breakfast was fabulous and the staff very friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. It was one of our favorites on our trip to Italy.

We are Frigo di Vicenza, last summer we spent a few days in Rome, after a very bad experience with Booking we were certainly guests of the Hotel degli Artisti. Excellent welcome, friendly and polite staff, well maintained, clean and conveniently located structure. One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! This was the first trip to Italy for my wife and I. We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and had an amazing time.
Our flight arrived very early and we were at the hotel by 10am (obviously too early). We were greeted with cappuccinos and the staff held our bags so we could start exploring. Speaking of, this hotel is in an ideal location for exploring the major sites of Ancient Rome. We were able to walk to the majority of the sites which really gives you an appreciation for the city.
Once we were checked in, the room was very clean and is what you expect of a modern hotel. The bed is comfortable and while the key card system being used to control energy waste was new to me, I do appreciate the effort to reduce waste.
The location was phenomenal and the room was exactly what we were looking for, but what makes this place special is the staff. Everyone seemed to be cheerful and willing to help. We were also very happy that the staff were all English speakers and we did not have to struggle with our basic google translate skills! Thank you for the wonderful time.

Phenomenal trip of a lifetime to Rome and we stayed in this spectacular hotel. The staff at front desk Francesca and Tim were very helpful in helping us navigate the city well, We definitely enjoyed our time at the bar with Dmitri as well. He helped my husband find a new favorite drink. I had my first expresso martini here and it was the absolute best! He also taught me some Italian phrases so I could get better adapted. The daily breakfast buffet was filled with delicious foods and the staff was very attentive. This hotel was very clean and well kept. The rooftop area showed a nice view of the area. The room was a little smaller than I was accustomed to but the boutique feel and intricate details in ceiling and artwork around premises - it was soooo worth it!
