Hotel Priscilla in Rome

not to far from all the sights and the hotel is lovely, but beware, we booked a superior room for three and were shown to what was no better than a hostel space. not even a kettle. after alot of complaining we had to pay extra, for what i believe was the room we should have had.

This is a scam. Please don't book this hotel. The rooms have molds on carpet and on washroom floors and beds , the water in the shower doesn't work , the air-conditioning doesn't work and when we requested them to fix they gave us a table fan and refused to give us better rooms. I wouldn't event rate this as 1 start tbh. Please stay away.

Arrived to a grumpy man who said we had not booked a disabled room. He did not want to get stair lift to help my mum up to reception. He then informed us we had not booked a disabled room so had to take my mum up a flight of stairs to the room and back down each time which took a long time and 3 of us to help her. Breakfast room was down 2 flights of stairs and next door to the hotel when asked how my mum was supposed to go for breakfast the very rude lady who runs the restaurant told us she had to eat in her room. On a positive note the man at reception in the day is very nice and tried his best to help us. Avoid if you are disabled

Terrible Experience – Unsafe and Unclean
I had the worst experience at this hotel. After arriving straight from the airport, I was immediately asked to pay the city tax, which was higher than what was originally listed. That was just the beginning of the issues.
When I went up to my room, I was shocked to find the door open. Thinking I had the wrong room, I asked a staff member about it, only to be told that this was "normal" and that the door didn’t need to lock. This felt incredibly unsafe, and I was uncomfortable leaving my luggage in the room. The staff were indifferent and showed no concern, especially after I had checked in.
The room itself was awful—dark, outdated, and dirty. There was no proper bed sheet, just one on top, and the bottom was covered with a filthy blanket that didn’t seem clean. The walls had marks, dust, and black stains from the vents. The lampshades were stained, and the floor was visibly dirty—I even spotted a few woodlice.
I couldn’t stay in this hotel and had to leave. It felt completely unsafe, the staff were rude and dismissive, and the overall condition was unacceptable. This hotel should not be listed at all. I strongly do not recommend staying here!
