Hotel Modigliani

Hotel Modigliani is a great place to stay. My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights in June. I would highly recommend it! Prices were good for a hotel in the centre of Rome, it took us about 6 minutes to walk to the Trevi fountain and the same distance to the Spanish steps. It is just up a side street so away from all the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough it never felt like a long walk in. Our room was lovely, with a double bed, air conditioning, and a TV (with Netflix). We also had breakfast included which although we went down every morning we didn't eat much. They had toast and eggs and meats and cheeses as well as a coffee machine and lots of different types of tea.
I felt very safe in this hotel and at no point did I ever feel uncomfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. When you left the hotel you had to hand your key to the front desk which is not something I felt I had done before but was very helpful because then we didn't risk losing it and didn't have to think about it. The front desk was open 24 hours a day and that meant no matter what time you came back someone would hand you the key.
The view from the room was lovely. I looked out onto some trees and some houses but looked so peaceful. There was also a little garden on the first floor which we regularly went and sat in with a cup of tea or drinks we brought from the corner shop a minute away.
If I ever go back to Rome I would stay here again.

Delicious Breakfast, good to sleep and take shower before start the day small room but the location is near everything even the metro station is near, very kindly staff, secure to walk at night quiet

Great location, humble iutside reveals a beautiful interior and great hospitality, with AC and a lift. Breakfast is very simple but satisfying. No herbal tea though.

Very clean, super cute, and the most important the location of course! 10 min away from the train station! Walking distance from fountain Trevi and from all the best restaurants in town! We are very Happy and highly recommend to all the people who are coming to Rome!
Also, forgot to mention about the breakfast it was really fresh and delicious!
Honestly it was a good selection of food! Fruits and fresh squeezed juices, ham and cheese, a salad, bread and croissants, they can even make you an omelet, good coffee!

Great hotel in a very good position in Rome. Note the hotel is on a pretty steep, short street so probably no advisable if you have walking issues.
Our room 104 was an apartment and although small was very clean, air con was good along with the wi-fi. The small fridge was invaluable for keeping water cold.
Our only complaint was the room safe didn't work, we reported this on two separate occasions and even after 3 days it had not been attended to therefore we had to carry our valuables each day and night which was a pain.
Breakfast was very good and all the hotel staff, lovely and attentive.
If ever back in Rome we would stay here again.

We stayed at the Hotel Modigliani for 5 nights in early October 2022. It's just a short walk from the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps, and just a little further to the Colosseum. Luca and his staff were absolutely excellent, sharing sightseeing and restaurant tips and helping us when we couldn't access CNN on the TV in the room. Although our room was tiny by North American standards, it was clean and had everything we needed, including enough room to place and access our luggage. The beds were quite comfortable and water in the shower was hot on demand. Moreover, while the hotel is close to 'all the action', it is located on a quiet side street. Their breakfast restaurant is lovely and offered a fine selection of choices, including eggs cooked to your liking. I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Rome.
