It was a great stay!!
The accommodation was a little small but you expect that in Rome. The bathroom would have been an issue for a big man or lady as it was quite compact.
I would give his hotel 3.5 stars but the service upon check out was horrid, and reflective of our entire stay.
We had asked on our last night whether we could have a late check out the next morning (moved from 11am to 12pm), because we were wondering if we had time to book a tour. We were told it was not a problem and planned our day accordingly. The morning of our tour and on our way out of the hotel, we reminded the front desk that we would be back for a late check out at noon, and were told it was simply not possible, with zero flexibility and no other solutions.
I can deal with miscommunications between staff or changing plans, but it’s the way the situation was handled with unnecessary one-sided aggression. We were so put off that we ended up leaving our tour early to come back and check out on time. It created so much stress and confusion for our trip that was unnecessary.
