We were too busy to care about the hotel but there are some things I noted about it:
1. Breakfast was alright. Not many options but good enough to find something to fill your stomach.
2. There were ants in the room in a corner. I assume it's normal for Rome but it tells a lot about the hotel's construction/infrastructure not being up to date.
3. Location was so-so, located in a shabby area with no decent meal options.
4. The bathroom and room were small but we were fine with it because of our busy schedule.
5. The outlets/sockets are located on the sides of the bed not having a bedside table. So your phone will inadvertently need to be placed on the bed.
6. Great thing about bathroom cups: they were sealed in a bag so you can be sure they're clean and place your toothbrush, etc. with a peace of mind.
TL;DR: if you don't care much about some minor issues, this place is fine. No major issues I noticed.

Convenient location to get onto metro and trainline as well as 30-minute walk to the coliseum and other venues in the centre of Rome. Staff were welcoming. Breakfasts are plentiful with choice to suit most tastes. Dinner and bar area available. Locked gates for the hotel and car park which are controlled electronically by reception staff so vehicles feel safer. Would recommend and stay again.

Excellent experience!
The staff is so kind and eager to make you feel at home.
Room: super clean and comfy. I slept very well! I didn’t hear anything, even in a really good location. You can go anywhere by foot. (If you are fit including Vatican).
Breakfast is amazing, including gluten free and lactose free options.
Highly recommend!

This place is great because it is independent from the main streets so you can get a good night sleep. It is clean and comfortable and I found everyone to be friendly especially the man in the breakfast room who speaks like 10 languages. Would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay here!
Rooms - our double was a bit small, especially the bathroom. Very small, the shower was especially inconvenient.
Breakfast - very good breakfast even though there were more sweet options than savory.
Location - perfect! Easily connected with buses and metro, and one of the best restaurants are around. Loved it!

Very much enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel has easy access via transit (bus and subway) to any of Rome's major attractions. And the breakfast was delicious.
On the downside: The shower is quite small and as we were there in the fall the air conditioning had already been shut off and the room was quite warm without the windows open.

Stayed here for 4 nights in September, very nice hotel, good location since there is a bus station in front of the hotel and easy to get to/from airport. Okay breakfast. Rooms are small but clean.

Stayed here for 3 nights with a large group. All the staff were kind and accommodating, and the breakfast was more extensive than I expected! The location is also excellent.

Very friendly staff. Hotel rooms and breakfast at Barberini are great. A really good option. 10 min walking from Transtevere and 5/7 min walking from the metro. Highly recommend.

Nice hotel. A bit far away from the center (30 min. walking); I would advise doing the way by bus (stop right in front of the hotel). The downside was that earlier in the morning (around 6 am), there is too much noise from guests.
