Grand Hotel Cesare Augusto

The hotel is clean and ideally located in the center, which are definite positives. However, my experience with extending our stay was quite frustrating. After a long flight, I approached the front desk to request an extra day because we were all exhausted. Initially, one staff member informed us there were no rooms available, which was surprising. I checked the hotel's website myself and found available rooms, so I went back to show her. She then acknowledged the availability but made the process unnecessarily complicated.

She told us that to extend our stay, we had to check out at 11 AM and could only check back in at 2 PM, which was a huge inconvenience for our large group, including seniors and a child. I felt like we were being pushed around and not valued as guests. The next morning, when we were all stressed about how to manage the transition, she suddenly mentioned that all rooms were ready and available, contradicting her earlier statement.

This whole situation showed a lack of honesty and support from the beginning. It made our stay much more stressful than it should have been. I've traveled a lot and have never encountered such a disorganized approach. However, not all the staff were like this; others were helpful. Despite the great location and cleanliness of the hotel, my experience with this particular staff member really impacted our overall experience negatively.

Breakfast only good thing. Wouldn't give us 2 keys! No eminities. No coffee in room. Was TOLD CANT EAT IN ROOM! No tissues. Little container of shampoo/body wash. I wouldn't come here again.
