Dodo Hotel in Riga

Very budget hotel with small rooms, if you are just expecting to get few hours of sleep before your flight it can be ok, it jas street parking, but area around is not pleasant at all with strangers walking around and shouting, especially at night

Booked a mystery holiday and got this hotel. You really get what you pay for. Only upside was the staff seemed friendly enough and there's a tram stop just outside, the view was alright too as we had a cat friend in the opposite building and a view of some derelict buildings. Bed was comfy, window could open nice and wide, but it was a rather small room for two people. Big bed with only two tiny head size pillows, the carpet felt pretty gross walking on being a mixture of crusty and sticky, the room smelled musty and definitely hadn't been deep cleaned in a while. Shower head had mould on it, the hairdryer in the bathroom was cracked, loads of dead and alive spiders in one corner of the room, only one plug socket to share between two people, no bed side tables or bed side lamps. Would stay if I was on a really budgeted holiday but it wouldn't be my first choice.

We made reservation through booking. After arrive we heard that there aren't rooms for us and they can't provide for us any substitution. It was 8pm. We had must find another accommodation for our own....
