I had an amazing stay at Hotel Royal! The spacious and cozy rooms made our experience truly comfortable. The breakfast spread was not only delicious but also offered a delightful variety. The restaurant's exquisite offerings were a perfect choice, and the hotel's convenient location made it easy to access everything we wanted to explore. Highly recommend for a fantastic stay!

Stayed here with a friend for a long weekend in November. Couldn’t fault the hotel or location, especially for the price paid. Great place to stay right by Wawel Castle, close to restaurants, Bars, Main Square, Trams and shopping. Rooms are huge!! Bathroom had a great shower. Plenty of room for coats, shoes and luggage. Rooms were also very warm and couldn’t hear any noise outside at all. Staff have all been friendly and good choice for buffet breakfast. Nothing to complain about, everything was great and would definitely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend 👍

Ok - so for the price it is well pitched and also nicely placed for walks to the centre. But having had a room on the main road - ear plugs are essential due to tram and general traffic noise. I did ask to be moved but no options. The staff are very courteous and helpful. The breakfast basic but acceptable with variety of options. Rooms I would suggest on the park side of the hotel much quieter though. Decor old fashioned but no issues as pictures on site accurate

Robert at the reception was so helpful when we arrived a few hours early. We were tired and just wanted our room. We waited out side walking in the lovely park close by, he came out and found us having got the room ready super quick.
Thanks Hotel Royal, your great staff are what really made our stay enjoyable, they were all so helpful and cheerful, not the usual uninterested and bored type you usually deal with in hotels everywhere. The breakfast was phenomenal !!

Bar dark and gloomy, nothing like in the photos, no bar lights, thick layer of dust on chandeliers, no tablecloths, miserable barman in his phone most of the time.Random cheap cutlery , various shapes and sizes.
Unable to use room service as the phone was broken. Not repaired till the end of our stay.
Lift dirty.Greasy fingers on the mirror welcomed us and stayed for our 3 days stay.
Room very disappointing, small, no place for suitcases. After installing the suitcase rail there was no room to walk around. One broken single wardrobe with dusty blanket and a shoe brush on it and three odd hangers. Curtains with cigarettes burnts so there is a doubt if the smoke detectors work! Only few channels working on TV, mainly German or Austrian, the aerial socket with wires hanging out.
Two bags of flavored tea, two portions of sugar, two odd cups and one teaspoon. One chair and one bedside table. We used this chair for the second bedside table but there was no room to open wardrobe.
Pigeon's poo all over the windows. When we asked to remove it, a very unhappy cleaner told us that "she had too much work and more important things to do,than cleaning windows". She then huffing and puffing wiped the poo and washed the cloth in our sink! She said "It doesn't matter, the water will rinse it when we use the sink" but, upon our request, she washed the sink. The plug in the sink was missing.
No hot water I'm the shower on the first day of our stay.
One iron for the whole hotel in a locked ironing room.
During the nights there was no light on the staircase, so when walking to your room from the lift there was complete darkness until you reached the next light sensor.
We paid for parking space upfront for three days. On third day, when we were leaving for a trip, we were asked by parking attendant when we are giung to be back. We said we don't know. When we came back, our space was sold for hourly rate to another person. The hotel has only 20 parking spaces and charges daily rate for hotel guests as well an hourly rate for others, so the place you paid for is being sold to others when you are not there.
A couple of times we wanted to talk to the manager but she was not available. The receptionist informed us that she is at home at she is not coming. She hadn't appeared for the duration of our stay. They told us to email her.
We are at the stage that we are done talking to the hotel. We are requesting our money back for our ruined holiday.
On a plus side: Very nice and professional barmaid Anna, who served us on our last day. Thank you Anna.

Adjacent to the old town, a few minutes walk away from restaurants, bars and tourist trap shops.
The hotel is comfortable and clean, buffet breakfast is perfectly adequate but I didn't use their restaurant as it is too easy to walk a few minutes for more choice.
I arrived by motorcycle after the time it stated that rooms would be ready but still had to wait almost two hours until the room was cleaned.
The receptionist gave me free parking as compensation which was a bonus as parking here can be difficult !
Don't turn up and expect parking, arrange in advance as spaces are limited and street parking will get you either fined or clamped !
The parking concierge is a really nice bloke so don't be rude to him, he's just doing his job.

Gloomy and dusty, greasy fingerprints on the lift mirrors welcomed us and stayed longer than we did. Very rude response from cleaner when asked to remove pigeon poos from our window, she said she had more important things to do and, huffing and puffing cleaned it and washed the pooed cloth in our bathroom sink! Car park attendent let our prepaid parking space to someone else for hourly charge , we waited for 2 hours for him to arrange another space and after massive row they let us park on the manager's space. We apparently had a standard double room: one double bed, one side table, single wardrobe with broken shelf, dusty blanket with a shoe brush on it, 3 hangers , one chair, broken telephone and broken TV. No space for suitcases, when we opened the holder there was no room to walk.Curtains burnt with cigarettes. Missing plug in the sink. Two bags of flavoured tea and two portions of sugar. No coffee. Iron - in the ironing room for everyone to take turns. When we wanted to talk to the hotel manager, we were informed that she is at home and not coming. She didn't appear for three days. The stay in this hotel ruined our visit in Kraków.

The hotel is centrally located, just in front of Wawel Castle, and has large and clean rooms. Staff at reception promptly answered to my emails and helped me with booking airport transfer and Auschwitz tour. Beds are very comfortable. Our room at third floor faced the gardens and sleep quality was so good. Buffet breakfast in the middle range. Just in front of the hotel a couple of good restaurants with local traditional food.

You won't get a better location for exploring the centre of Krakow. The rooms and corridors are spacious with lovely high ceilings. The decor is a little dated but clean and fits in with the period property. The hotel is right on the well known and beautiful planty park walk. This gives you easy access to the castle, river, central market square and the many shops, restaurants and historic buildings. If you are visiting I highly recommend the 8pm classical concerts held at St Peters Church in the centre. The hotel also provides you with easy access to the tram network. The only slight downside in the noise from the trams and general nightlife. However, you could say that of any major city hotel.

It was at a great location. 5 mins from the Krakow Square. Staff very helpful. Room service wasn't great. Even if you put the notice on the door to remake room. It didn't always happen. When we did see the ladies about towels they were very helpful. But apart from that it was very good. Lot's to choose from at breakfast and as much to eat as we could eat. No complaints about that. All in all a lovely hotel
