I was disappointed that as someone staying in the ambassador hotel for 6 nights, I am not able to use the gym and pool without paying 400 Baht per day!! That is poor service and hospitality. Hotel members should not have to pay more money than they are already paying.

A Fantastic Stay at Hotel Ambassador
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ambassador Hotel, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish!
When I arrived, the staff was warm and welcoming, making check-in a breeze. My room was beautifully decorated, spacious, and spotlessly clean, with all the amenities I could ask for. The comfortable bed ensured I got a great night's sleep after a day of exploring.
One of the highlights was the hotel's location and its breakfast. It was conveniently situated near local attractions and dining options, making it easy to explore the area.
My stay exceeded my expectations. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and a great location made it a memorable getaway. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic place to stay!

I loved my stay here. Mr.Apisit helped me check in which was a breeze. All the staffs are lovely. The pool is a good place to chill after a tiring day. Love the housekeeping staffs they’re super nice. I’m returning back to Bangkok before I leave and have already booked couple of nights at the Ambassador hotel again.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an overall pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and the check-out/in process was quick and seamless. One suggestion for improvement would be to provide an iron in the room rather than having to go to the end of the hall to use one. That said, for the price it's definitely worth it!

The hotel in general is good. The rooms (I stayed in sky wing) are extremely clean and tidy. I did not experience any noise at all in the room. The staff will help as much as they can. The breakfast had everything. Check in took a bit too long but there was plenty of people so I do not blame the staff. The location is spectacular, only 2 minutes walk to the sky train. There is a 7-11 nearby and plenty of fast food chains 100m away from the hotel door.
Only downside and it is not the hotel fault, there were plenty of Indians with bad manners and not respectful.
I will return to this hotel if I ever back to Bangkok and want a budget hotel.

I am currently at the hotel itself . Checked-in yesterday (Sep 02, 2024). Please do not go by good reviews the service is indeed horrible. Since yesterday I am calling housekeeping to fix the issue in bathroom ; nobody turned up. Nobody will ever answer the phone at front desk. There are mosquitoes in the room. They do not provide in-room slippers. Rooms are small and dark until you open the curtains then of course world will see your business. Only Lobby is huge because which is a good part because you will be waiting by there for at least 30-45 minutes for your check-in. I came across a new issue , you cannot unlock your room with your room key. Every time you have to run after housekeeping to unlock your room. Same issues reported by other guests in out wing. One family checking out before their actual reservation. Bottom line please put your money in a hotel where staff is professional, courteous and attentive. My money is stuck now. Definitely not a place for a family to book. I will share an updated review once I will checkout.

We requested late check out but front desk didn’t bother to inform housekeeping. Housekeeping very swiftly locked our room and revoked our key access. Check out took 45 minutes. I had a great experience at Ambassador Hotel! The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore and GREAT VIEW. As a Bangladeshi, I felt a sense of home with the presence of many fellow Bangladeshis and nearby restaurants offering familiar cuisine. The hotel itself was comfortable, with friendly staff and great amenities. It’s an ideal choice for anyone looking for a welcoming atmosphere and a convenient stay in Bangkok. Highly recommend!

Hotel is good to stay in, however.. the time it takes to check in is ridiculous. Every time I come here it’s like waiting in the queue at the airport with 20 people ahead of you. There’s not enough staff on the Reception check in and the check-in process itself takes ages for each person. This system needs to be upgraded urgently. So stay here if you wanna go through that…after you get checked in everything is pretty ok. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Grand old place, huge hotel lobby and has a nice feel to it. I stayed in the original section and had heard reviews that were not complimentary about the rooms. I was very happy with the room and the facilties are good as well. As long as they give me back my security deposit, I will absolutely come back on the tail end of my trip. Depending on what you want, this location can be a little intense. You definitely get the flavor of Bangkok here and everything is in close proximity as well as easy to find transportation options. Hope to be back. I would like to try to the addition to the hotel as I hear views and rooms are better.
