I always choose to stay at the Mercure Bangkok Sukhumvit 24 when I travel to Bangkok. The location is perfect, right across from Emporium and just a few steps from the BTS. The facilities are great, and the pool view is one of the best in Bangkok.
The service from the hotel staff is excellent, and I found that the standard can be higher than some of the "higher star" hotels I've stayed at. I have dietary restrictions, and because the lunch buffet didn't have dishes to accommodate my needs, the chef quickly cooked special meals for me without my having to request them. I was very impressed. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Conveniently located. About 4 minutes walk to Phrom Pong BTS Station. Laundry service in the arcade across from the hotel. Rooms are cleaned everyday and the service is remarkable.

Good location, walking distance from Phrom Phong station. Hotel is sharing same lift lobby with Ibis but different reception entrance. Fast check-in with great smile from the staff. Room is clean with big glass window. Didnt spend much time at roof top bar due to strong wind and heavy rain, roof top bar's staff are friendly and nice. The breakfast is great with alot of varieties.
Downside is the lift, need longer waiting time.
Also, thanks to Suphanun and Juthamarth for the arrangement of room decorations and amenities.

A good hotel, good rooms well designed lots of plug sockets, a slightly thin walls, could hear other toilets flushing but not people talking, big window in room. There is a 7-11 downstairs. A special mention to Kanya in housekeeping, always very friendly and helpful, she is an exceptional member of staff. And Lee who helped us with our luggage to our room and split up a fight downstairs. Also, the guy in the booth outside was helpful when crossing the road with my family during heavy traffic. Could do with a robe and slippers for pool users. Pool and roof area looked a bit run down does match the standard of the rest of the hotel. Lots and lots tourists from China stay here. Tips: when you cross the road, walk right just a minute and there is an entrance to emporium shopping mall up some steps, from here you can reach the bts and cross busy road via bridge. Also, there is a good currency place downstairs from the perfume floor tucked around the corner past a glasses shop. Make sure to bring passport for currency. For the price of the hotel, it’s a 4 out of 5 from us.

I didn't do the breakfast buffet, but my family did and they enjoyed it. It's pricier then eating outside (if you pick the right places) but still very reasonable for western $$ standards.
We didn't get to use the pool or gym so can't speak to those.
The rooms were spacious and clean.
Hotel basically has its own 7-11 store in the lobby, it is connected to the Ibis hotel which is a more budget hotel.
The lobby staff was very nice to let us know that the exchange counter across the street (located by the hotel across the street BUT not in the hotel, it's a little kiosk) had better rates than their.
It's very close to the BTS station.

Lovely hotel, very near BTS (5 min walk), a lot of spa along the way for foot massage, Usman restaurant (halal) is about 15 mins walk

A lot better than ibis in the same building. Same great staffs but the room is way better.

Comfort bed and pillow. New, clean hotel. Unfortunately during period I stayed, breakfast was served with breakfast box deliver to room with very limit of choices.

I’m the fan of this hotel now. I had a great time stayed here more than 1 week with a well organized during Covid19. Got the Accor member free immediately after you booking by phone. Easy reservations. Breakfast here are the best!! Love the gym and rooftop pool. Also the rooftop bar by the weekend is very fantastic to end of the day with sunsets. Love the parking which the elevator could go up to your floor. Staffs are lovely. Will be back for sure.

Situated within the city and a stone throw to Emporium Shopping Mall and BTS. Clean and well equipped. Breakfast was decent during Covid-19 with rooms for improvement. Very friendly service too.

Clean and good location. Tuk and Lee in the reception/entrance is really friendly and helpful. We first meet them and they really shaped our experience to something great 👍
