Vib Best Western Sanam Pao - SHA Plus Mini-hotel

The hotel is in a great part of Bangkok. Close enough to hop on the BTS (which is practically right outside the front door) to get to anywhere you want or need to go. Far enough that you’re not smack dab in the middle of the city so it feels more relaxed with fewer tourists.

The staff were friendly and efficient and communicated well in English. They have a fun giraffe out front that can be used as a landmark or meeting spot. We were there for a little over 2 weeks when we first arrived in Bangkok. It was a good stay for the price, especially because we have a Best Western membership and got points.

The room was on the small side with no closet but they had a few nice, heavy duty wooden hangers and hooks for your clothes and a nice little desk area. We were located near the back of the hotel so it was relatively quiet because we didn’t hear street noise but we did hear our neighbors from time to time. Being at the back also made the room very dark in general.

The drains smelled like sulfur when you used the sink but my husband believed it may have been other guests eating durian (which isn’t allowed in the hotel). The shower was a nice size and was very nice. You could switch between a waterfall from the ceiling shower head or a handheld shower head. The rooms are definitely showing wear and tear so it won’t be as “spotless” as a westerner might expect but it served our purposes and we didn’t see any bugs.

All in all, it was a nice stay. It served as a good starting off point to explore Bangkok because of the BTS Sanam Pao entrance right out front.

The room is excellent and the coffee maker machine can be use as a kettle. The king size bed is comfortable and relax to rest on. The hotel just right next to Sanam Pao BTS station and it is really convinient. It is near a 7Eleven convenient store and street food push cart vendors as well.

Easy for BTS and connection to airport rail link...
Ok continental breakfast. Room a bit small if you have two large suitcases, otherwise no complaints except the decor was designed by a drunk Scouser ( the red sort)😁

if you are not so sensitive with noises i can really recommend this place!

pro:
- great location, right next to BTS Sanam Pao
- clean rooms, huge bed, nice bathrooms
- big full body mirror
- slippers and bathrobes
- kind service
- 2 min walk to 7/11
- elevator

con:
- rooms are quite small and dark, small windows with no view really. but it is totally fine for just sleeping. it could be a little small for 2 person with big luggage.
- smoke detector right over the bed that is blinking all night
- you can hear everything from the hallway, especially other rooms doors closing really loud

Probably the most efficient hotel i have ever stayed. Albeit the rooms are small, the attitude of the service staff makes up for it.

The rooms are also clean and the location is extremely convenient to get around town.

There's a lack of amenities around with only one 7-11 store next door. But if you are just here for the night of rest. This is more than sufficient.

customer until last check in the asked me deposit and i said i pay later after going to atm
- hadnt cash money on me and didnt wanted to use my cc as they need 2 weeks for refund - they didnt let me check in - next time wont book them again -

Best thing is its location. Right in front of BTS Sanam Pao (a rather small station hence walking and getting from train to exit has always been in a breeze)

If you are a solo female traveler like me, arriving thru Don Mueang airport, then get here by A2 bus, cost you only THB 30 one way, journey about 45mins, from DM airport, exit 6 to hotel door front! Cheap and easy i cant be happier!

Next 2 doors to the hotel is 7-11, buying your beer and midnight snack cant be easier

Pleasant stay experince. There is nothing much going on in the area except for the fun kpop bar next door but you just need to hop into the train to reach big c, ari area (hipster cafes), chatuchak, union mall and siam so its pretty good to me! You can stay away from the hustle of the city and yet close enough to have fun. Staff are friendly!

Best budget friendly stay if you’re in Thailand. Great location with food, transportation right in front and bar next door. Ari is a great st for food
