White Ivory Bed & Breakfast in Bangkok

Very nice little hotel, we really enjoyed our stay here and think this place should be rated much higher on google reviews.
Lobby and room was super clean and relatively modern. Shared kitchen area near the lobby where you can help yourself to utensils and appliances. Staff were welcoming and friendly and we found the location to be quite good, with convenience stores located within walking distance and we ended up walking to a lot of the tourist areas as well. Such a good value stay, would definitely come back again!

Absolutely lovely interior, common area, and room. (Not sure how to attach video). To get there from the BTS station, needed to walk along a nondescript creek. The coffee service has ceased, yet the Pattern Hotel (in an alley beside the White Ivory) owned by the same proprietor offers breakfast at 7:30.

While the Whit Ivory offers a cozy boutique atmosphere, the streets outside reveals another world in which everyday folks live — even more down to earth than Bang Kapi, Rangsit, or Ramkhamhaeng. To wit, there are THREE convenient stores: 7-12, Lotus, and a CJ Supermarket (which offers many goods not seen in the previous two). In front of the 7-11, half a papaya costs only 10 baht (twice the size, but at half the normal price). Across the street from the 7-11 is a fast food restaurant where stirred fried chicken kra phrao cost only 69 baht. For higher brow diners, there are at least 3 nearby restaurants with reviewer rating of 4.9/5.0; but they will set you back 600-1,000 baht each.

Good enough for a couple of nights.

Super location, five minutes from BTS and ferry station. There are also plenty of shopping opportunities and a night market at the end of the city. Away from the tourist areas and therefore very local. The rooms are chic and clean. Unfortunately there is no breakfast, but let's be honest, you're in Bangkok. Where else can you find something if not here?

Warm welcome and helpful people. The hotel is close to the sky subway so this is good otherwise the hotel is a little bit old. Good environment

Clean, bright and welcoming hotel, five minutes from a BTS train station and 20 minute walk from Icon Siam Shopping Centre and the ferry.
The standard double rooms are not large but neither are they cramped and tiny. Bathrooms are a decent size and everything is clean. Our TV wasn’t working and when staff weren’t able to fix it they offered us a new room. Overall, we found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly.
There is a truly local night market at the end of the street and plenty of cheap options around for breakfast and lunch. The night market sells mainly takeaway meals in plastic bags which people take home and heat up and the hotel has a microwave for guests to use, so we had a delicious feast of three different mains, a roast chicken and sticky rice for less than 200 THB.
Great location If you want to be part of the local life in Bangkok.

Pros: The common area is beautiful, the price is reasonable, the bed is very soft and comfortable, the facilities are quite complete, it is very easy to find food, there are 7-Eleven and CJ nearby. Cons: The room is not soundproof and not soundproof at all, you can hear the shower from the next room, the bathroom is not separated into wet and dry zones, there is a musty smell from the pipes, the accommodation does not have an elevator, it is not recommended for people who bring large bags because you may have to walk up 4 floors of stairs, there is little parking, the alley is quite narrow, suitable for motorcyclists.
