Alaaddin Beach Hotel - Adult Only

Had a very poor experience with the hotel. We booked sea view rooms and paid the premium, however were not given those room. It felt like the hotel was trying to nickel and dime you for every service. Want an extra pillow? That's 2 euros. Want a basic bottle of water? 2 euros. On top of this, the reception staff were often impolite and condescending whenever we approached them with issues. The only caveat was that the restaurant staff were great. This is a 3 star hotel masquerading as a 4 star. The attached picture is of the sea side view rooms, which cost extra. Avoid.

Small swimingpool for to big hotel, to much noise everyday in the hall at night and the food was not the quality of stars.. not even close!

Just finished our 10 night stay here, this was a special holiday for me and my partner as it’s our last before our first child comes. Unfortunately, our room was right next to the beach club (Balcony overlooking) which meant after travelling our first night we have very little sleep. I went down at 6am to request a room change due to the loud music which played all night. We were told it was 10 euros a day to switch rooms! We went back after discussing this to which we were then told different prices! We had no option but to pay extra and switch rooms. As we were packing up our rooms after 10 hours of travelling and no sleep the Maid asked to come in, which we explained don’t worry come back and all- we hadn’t even spent a day in the room but she insisted she cleaned as she was nearly finished all the rooms and couldn’t come back the next day which made no sense to us. Half Board was not worth the money at all! Drinks weren’t included with dinner meaning we spent extra money each night with an awful meal. Cold food, not much options and same every night with a change of 1 meat on bbq a night. No food is labelled making it hard for anyone with allergies. Staff were not helpful and rude, service was bad throughout breakfast and dinner. We’d wait 15 minutes for someone to come over to offer drinks even when it’s completely quiet, when my partner would then just go to the bar they rudely told us its table service each time, however, we then had to continue to wait extra time. Very limited english made ordering drinks very difficult which you would have thought would be the basics of a bar. They refused to let you pay as you go / after a meal in their restaurant (Lunch) and would only let you put on the room number as they don’t take payments. I assumed If i went to reception they’d let us pay but they said the same ! This meant we paid on our last day but had to pay the figure they said as they hold no receipts or listed items. Luckily we wrote and kept track of EVERYTHING but as you can imagine for 10 days this was a lot and extra hassle putting cash aside. Very useless on our last day, check out was 12. Although our transfer wasn’t until 5:30 pm. The day before I requested if we could do a later check out to which i was told come back before 7am tomorrow morning which I did! To then be told wait until after breakfast and they’ll let me know. We were constantly told one thing then another. Our room was empty, however, they wanted to charge €6 an hour extra 12-4:30 only. This would have been ok if we didn’t pay stupid amounts to switch due to something out of our control! The Hotel itself was clean and pretty environment in a good location with lots of bars and restaurants (as long as you get top floor room facing beach) noise isn’t a problem!
