Overcrowded: The hotel was severely overbooked. Guests were crammed in like sardines, with no personal space whatsoever.
Tiny Pool and Restaurant: The swimming pool and restaurant were incredibly small and couldn't accommodate the number of guests. It was always overcrowded and chaotic.
Terrible Food Quality: The food was monotonous and of poor quality. Every meal was a disappointment and left much to be desired.
Unbearable Air Conditioning: The air conditioning unit was directly above the bed, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. It was either too cold or we had to turn it off and suffer in the heat.
Non-existent Housekeeping: The room was never cleaned. Housekeeping seemed to be a non-existent service at this hotel.
Dirty and Outdated Rooms: The rooms were not only outdated but also filthy. It was evident that cleanliness and maintenance were not a priority.
Inconvenient Room Allocation: Despite booking two rooms, we were placed in separate buildings, which was incredibly inconvenient and frustrating.
Insane Queues for Food: The queues for meals were ridiculously long, making the dining experience extremely unpleasant and frustrating.
Shortened Stay: We had booked a 10-day stay but ended up leaving after just one night due to the appalling conditions.
No Refund Policy: To top it all off, the manager refused to refund us for the remaining days, despite the numerous complaints and issues we raised.
In summary, our stay at Kleopatra Ramira Hotel was a complete catastrophe. We strongly advise against booking this hotel if you value your sanity and want to enjoy your holiday.
Positive
-Rooms are pretty spacious, looks decent and modern. Toilet area also looks good and modern.
-Location is good, close to the centre. If you are a walker you can get anywhere easily.
-Hotel has a decent architecture from outside.
-They operate shuttle service to the beach almost every hour. But beware ! What you eat/drink at the beach is not included to your all inclusive service !
Negative
-Forks & knives and cups are not clean at all and majority of the table clothes has multiple stains on it.
-Rush times for food court area.. Oh dear god.. You can see a hair mixed up with food spilled to the ground and just hanging there for half an hour.
-Lobby area and some parts of the hotel smells too much foody during the meal times.
-If chefs stops joking around behind the deck or even in the middle of the restaurant I believe they can make a decent food. But unfortunatelly majority of the time meats tastes below avarage. Fish and chicken too dry. Lack of meat taste ! But if you are a vegeterian you can enjoy the food.
-They prioritize money over quality thats so obvious. Majority of the staff is not that professional at all. But what can I say you get what you pay for.
-House cleaning doing their best but they use too much bleach. Instead of a clean scent all you can have is the harsh smell of bleach. But again.. Hotel policy is maximum profit minimum quality..
-You can hear the entire phone conversation of your next door no sound isolation at all.
My review base on how 4 star hotel should be. Due to my job requirements I stay at 4-5 stars hotels all the time. If I have to rate my experience it would be 2/10. We started to eat out after the second day. We did not even try getting in the pool.
Imagine that: you had your dinner at 7 p.m and then you're starving till 10 a.m. airplane breakfast. We were up all night and obviously we were hungry.
As for the hotel, the advantages are food and rooms (very cozy).
However, there are disadvantages:
1) Reception. Mentioned it earlier
2) Cleaning. It was very basic & they didn't change our bed even once (we've stayed there for a week)
3) Cats. Cats are used to being fed by guests during the meals, so they are everywhere. They jump on to the chairs right next to you, they walk on the tables, they're basically trying to jump into your plate.
The food could've been better but given the price it was awesome. Do not expect full range of second meals, there were always about 4 to choose from and the taste was not the best, but they were offering full range of various vegetable salads and a lot of fruits and desserts which saved the situation – in summer I tend to eat more healthy food. The air conditioning was badly mounted on the wall resulting in constant flow of cold air on us during the night and when we tried to lower the temperature, it was the same, as well as when we tried to lower the air flow.
