Hotel Morione & Spa Center

If you’re thinking about booking a room in this hotel, be extra careful of leaving your stuff in the room. Some of my things just “vanished” in the last 4 days that I’ve stayed here and the staff couldn’t be more uninterested. Overall, the hotel is in a good location. The price for breakfast is €15 per morning, which is far more than eating in any coffee shop/ restaurant near the place.

The location of the hotel is nice but the hotel itself is TERRIBLE. The service was terrible, and the staff is unbelievably rude. The cleaning was mediocre. There are plenty of better hotels around the same area. Do not recommend at all. The hotel’s reply to this review is another example of how unprofessional the staff is. I actually did stay for 4 nights in this hotel. Couldn’t get out of there any sooner.

Unfortunately, my experience was not pleasant. First, my reservation was for a family connected room, including 2 king beds and a sofa bed for 5 people, including a child who is 11 years old as per his passport and not as an adult as they claimed but instead we got a room with one king bed and and one with queen bed and no sofa bed and when we complained they told us it's not their problem we had to contact the reservation website. Also, although as per the website, we made the reservation for one child who is 11, but the hotel had a different age limit and considered him as an adult. Second, when we complained regarding the rooms and asked for the manager (siven), she was so rude and had no manners, and I wonder how she was in that position not being able to handle her customers appropriatly. The manager told us she had only 2 minutes to talk to us as if we were not important, and she threatened us that if we did not accept those rooms, we could cancel our reservation and leave and started to speak in turkish to receptionist while she was leaving us taking her dog with her. Third, after I booked a third room to solve the problem, we found out that the bedsheets and towels are not very clean and worne out with holes in it. Room service were not very good as they didn't refill the rooms with water every time they cleaned it and no floor towel, so we had to use the face towels instead. Bathtup was clogged into rooms with not one cared to handle it. I didn't expect to be in a 5-star hotel, but I was expecting a way better service and attitude. I have been in multiple hotels in turkey in the past 9 years, but for the first time, I have been dealing with such rude and disrespectful staff who lacks the training or the experience in dealing with costumers.

Reply to your answer..my son is only 11, he is born on sep. 14. 2012. Revisit your records and do the math correct. We arrived at th hotel as 7 people to correct you (again) because my nephew and niece they live in istanbul and came with us only to help because you had no lagguage carrier and one very small elevator.

With so many options available nearby, I wouldn’t waist the money nor the time staying here. At the hotel, the bathtub was clogged and the water wouldn’t drain and we couldn’t use the shower the entire night. The towels were stained with very suspicious colors and the bathroom handles kept coming off. The only thing worse was the breakfast and service. The breakfast is just ready food covered with plastic and the most of the staff was extremely rude. There was no one to assist with the bags and there were no refills for water or tea bags (and there was no coffee). Wouldn’t recommend if with a family.

Although the rooms were nice, we were threatened by the manager Siven by canceling our reservation or taking away more amenities if we didn’t pay an extra 500 euro for requesting amenities already included in our family reservation. We were given much smaller rooms than we booked. When discussing options, they first spoke in English then spoke in Turkish knowing we won’t understand. If you plan on being disrespected and scammed, this hotel is great for you. Otherwise, I’d recommend other family-friendly nearby hotels like The Wings Hotel.
