Orty Airport Hotel

I had layover in İzmir for around 5 hours during day so didn't need really a hotel but cozy place to sit and relax outside which I couldn't find at airport.
This hotel, just 10 min walking from airport, has great terrace with restaurant/bar menu , service at reception was outstanding . Prices at bar lower than airport prices.
And on top of that I was offered free shuttle to airport (again I didn't book a room, just sat outside on terrace).
Definitely recommend this hotel even if you don't need a room and looking just for a place to relax 🤗

This hotel is located near the airport, not within the airport. If you want to stay within airport for more convenience, there is another airport hotel located in the airport, but is more expensive. The orty hotel provided a shuttle service. We called the hotel reception when we arrived, and a driver came to pick us up from the domestic terminal within 5 minutes. If you plan on walking to the domestic terminal or the train station (to take the metro to the city or train to selcuk), it is actually quite far away. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to walk there. There are travellators along the way in the passageway, but it is still quite a long walk. I would not recommend trying to walk from the domestic terminal or train station to this hotel if you are carrying heavy luggage. The international terminal is a little bit nearer and a bit more walkable.
There is nothing much else like shops or sight seeing near the airport. So you'll have to take a metro or taxi to the city centre. The hotel reception helped us call a taxi when we wanted to go to the city. It takes about 30 minutes because of traffic.
The breakfast was a good breakfast with a wide spread of delicious food. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The room was alright and as expected, it was clean and comfortable.
Overall, it is a good airport hotel with good staff, especially if you are staying only 1 night.

My room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. The location was good for my trip, it was near airport, industrial zone, and the public transportation to the city center for exploring the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting İzmir for same as my purposes!

This hotel is next to the airport with a shuttle to take you. The rooms are clean and nice. The staff was very friendly. If you are looking for a hotel to stay at after a night or early flight this is a great place!
