This hotel doesn't allow turkish citizens to walk near Balcova Thermal Facility after 8pm. While foreign tourists and hotel customers walk around happily in summer, people who lives in Balcova can't even enter the area just to do walking activity.

Very good i can say.. we did stay for 1 night, foods just very tasty..room was so clean and we did enjoy in the bath tub :) but i didnt use thermal pools for my 4 years old little one..can't be sure about hygiene..people come here to get better with any kind of skin issues in the end 🤔 i can highly recommend with friendly crew 🥰

Although the hotel is a bit older, it was still a great experience! Staff was very nice, guided us to our room and spa is lovely. Food was great, buffet was authentic Turkish cuisine. Just expect everything to look a bit 80’s and you’ll have a grand time

the place was recommended in all of my travel guides, online and print, with the astonishing claim of "curing 95% of diseases". finding detail information was difficult enough, and as it turns out, they only TREAT a tiny minuscule amount of diseases, as stated on their website - which mentions nothing at all about CURING. it even says NOT to attend with an entire list of diseases. good thing I checked beforehand!

This is thermal hotel with natural springs. I mean hot water. The hotel building is old . It's functional. But not well maintained. The Spa is good. Despite its a natural thermal spa they have to add plenty of Chlorin to the water. Since the place is a little crowded. They accept people out of hotel too. I haven't stayed at the hotel more than 5 years. That's why I can't make a statement regarding the hotel rooms and service. Overall the thermal spa is OK and functional in many ways. But don't expect a 5 star hotel spa .

That was the most horrible hotel experience of us. There was a huge instincts in bath. Also, rooms are dirty and smells cigarette heavily. There was a quality differences between rooms. Some rooms are average and relatively cleaner than others however the upper rooms (Especially 3rd floor) are terrrible. There was no any towel, dirty baths, breaking cabinet doors and toilets.. Our room has been changed withput our permission and knowledge.the management of hotel insisted on there was no quality differences but we have some evidences about that (Photo etc.) Building was really old and expired. It must be out of service but they moved on with highly prices. It s worthless.. when you say the criticisims about hotel, they suggest 1 day free acommodation like a bribe. That was hilarious and ridiculous.

For the price, this hotel is not worth it. It definitely does not deserve the current 4-star rating…we think some of the “happy” reviews are fake. The customer service is poor from the receptionist staff, however the housekeeping staff are kind and helpful. Overall the hotel is unprofessional. When pools are out of order or being cleaned there is no signage or info. Half of the pools were unavailable when we visited. The food is not good - don’t buy breakfast or any food at the hotel if you stay here. Breakfast was simply bad. The condition of the hotel is really bad and rundown. Lights didn’t work in our room, and there is mildew in the bath/shower and more. BADLY need to do a huge renovation overhaul. They host weddings almost every night and the wedding guests use all of the parking, meaning paying guests struggle to park in the evenings. There are tons of cats around the building, which we loved. The bed was comfortable. The staff attitude is weird and unprofessional. We recommend skipping this hotel. Wifi does not work, and they didn’t do much to help when we asked about the problem.

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Awful standards, no hygiene whatsoever and no regard for safety in terms of Covid.
The rooms were disgusting, ligt bulbs didnt work, useless pillows and dirty rooms, and when asked to get a couple of new pillows, he had to contact his “friend” and after 15 minutes, he said it wasn’t possible to replace the pillow.
The room smelled of cigarettes and old water, which they couldn’t do anything about.
Homeless cats and dogs walking everywhere, from out of the hotel to the reception. Couldn’t even eat my one and only dinner at the hotel in peace as the animals kept interrupting, and still the food was tasteless and bland.
No air conditioning anywhere in the hotel except the rooms, not even in the corridors, reception or the restaurants. We wanted to vheck out instantly, however that wasnt possible and we were offered free dinner, which tasted like dog food, that evening, and when we checked out the next day the receptionist LIED to us and said he never said out meal would be free, and demanded 300TL and if we refused to pay based on his promise, he would contact the police

You won't find anyone as problems with the Hotel,the cleanliness is not taken complaints that dermatology is not in question .Anyone advise me again come for free, they say.
