One of my favorite hotels in Abu Dhabi for inexpensive but decent hospitality. The buffet breakfast is, in my view, top 5 in Abu Dhabi. An excellent salad station as well as the usual egg and bread dishes

Salam street is behind the hotel that enables a fast travel to Dubai and Yas Island. Hotel staff is humble and happily provide you any kind of extra facility upon availability without putting a hole in your pocket

Thanks to the management for wonderful training being given to the staff. I recommend this hotel to each and everyone

Impossible to fault really - beautiful facilities including gym and rooftop pool, amazing breakfast buffet and also had the most amazing buffet lunch one of the days

They genuinely make you feel like you are welcome home. Ahmed Jamal for all his extended support, a very good gentlemen that is always present to address anything related to your stay at anytime

Best location for us as a family, especially since our main goal was to visit all the theme parks in Yas Island. Our stay had multiple access to the parks inclusive. Very worth for our family of 6

It was really modern and elegant! The view wasn’t too bad but we still enjoyed the room. The buffet was amazing, serving dishes daily and was really yummy! The pool was amazing and we really had a blast there!

My reservation was 2 nights and there was a mistake in our reservation (we made our reservation by phone) and it was solved by Ms. Tatiana and we make our reservation 3 nights instead of 2 nights

The hotel is local to Theme Parks,Yas Beach,Yas Marina and many other sights and attractions. The staff at this hotel all go the extra mile to make sure you are enjoying your stay and it certainly has the wow factor

Check-out. We checked-in late at 9pm and the latest we're allowed to stay was 1pm, where clearly the hotel isn't busy and at least didn't seem to have many guests, could've been kind enough to let us stay longer.

This was a great hotel in Abu Dhabi. Room are quite neat and in order. It just one street away from Hamdan Street. I remember they do have a nice sports bar and steak restaurant(The Fondry I think)

The staff, from the reception to the restaurant waiters, to the poolside team - are always courteous, professional, and friendly. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, featuring both a bathtub and a shower

Amenities: The amenities at Southern Sun are top-notch. The pool is large and inviting, and the gym is well-equipped for a comprehensive workout. Although I haven't tried the sauna, it’s an available option for guests

This is a great hotel for a visit to Abi Dhabi. Breakfast had a huge choice and I think the best omelette I have had 👌pool area was small but perfect. Bedroom was clean, comfortable and very well fitted

I spent countless hours soaking up the sun, taking in the breathtaking views of the sea, and enjoying the soothing sound of the waves. The swimming pool area was equally impressive

One is gluten free so needed extra considerations to his diet. The service was amazing with Dino and Thuli being so attentive. This is the second time I have been but first for my friends and we all enjoyed it enormously

Rotana Yas Island Hotel left only the most pleasant impressions! It has a convenient location, just a few minutes away from the main attractions of the island

It’s a perfect choice for a family vacation or a trip with friends. The kids' playroom is fantastic, with plenty of activities and amazing staff who not only supervise but actively engage and play with the children

We will definitely come back here again! However, it’s worth noting that there is currently construction going on near the hotel. While we didn’t hear any noise in our room, it was noticeable outside

I don't work in hospitality so I don't know how the number of stars are determined but to me the hotel staff, from front desk, concierge desk to facilities, restaurants, bar and housekeeping, are the 5th star of this hotel!! They made me feel at home with their friendliness and helpfulness, and after a while they even started remembering my name and room number

Cafes and restaurants with Lots of food and snacks options at various places. We dined at The Hide Restaurant. The vibes natural waterfalls, stone stairs and grassland settings give feel surreal

We stayed in this resort to celebrate my son's 7th birthday. Very accessible to the zoo and perfect for kids. It's close to Yas Island also. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Saeed ensured we had a best stay

My baby loved being in a room in front of the deer and gazelles. We also enjoyed cooling off at the pool during the hot afternoon before visiting the animals in the evening

If you love animals, this is a place you mustn't miss. We got upgraded to giraffe chalet for free. Unlimited access to park if you stay. All exotic birds walk with you in the passage. It was a great feeling.

Actually been here multiple times but first time got skin allergies all over my body. But not sure the origin if regarding the food I ate in their hotel during lunch or in their sheets/towels or air-conditioning

It’s a big hotel and great for kids which is why we chose to come here. Service is great and Dasun at the poolside made sure we were well looked after. He came over daily to make sure we had everything we needed

While the hotel pool is satisfactory, the beach is rather diminutive. The lobby lounge is impressive, offering a tranquil ambiance suitable for work and an extensive selection of delectable treats

The facilities are good they do have 2 different pools and beach. There is kids club as well and pool with slide for kids

There is also another pool on the third floor that is great for a cocktail and sunbathing! We spent one week here and can't wait to come back!

Rooms were lovely with plenty of facilities and we managed to get a pool and sea view (in a club level room). We will definately be returning here when we can and we highly recommend it

Hotel has its own beach and family friendly pool , spa and gym so you and your family can enjoy all the amenities during your stay. Flavours restaurant is no doubt full of flavours

Also they have adult sections at the beach and pool which is so good! And lifeguards even adhere to those rules, say if a kid wants to jump from the edge into the adult pool they will tell the kid politely to leave

I got upgraded to “only” sea view twice now which even then the rooms are stunningly big and the bed is absolutely comfortable! Breakfast is insanely big. Only thing I’d wish was a “quieter” breakfast room

We came here based on suggestions of our friends, after two days it's actually well understood that the hotel is very nice, but also there are some minuses: no shower at the beach, but it should be, you need to walk each time to toilet to get shower; no garbage baskets near umbrellas; one of the main restaurant is closed, unfortunately no chance to visit

Actually, Brendon arranged my stay there with upgraded suite and breakfast. I would come back there next week but 12 hour flight and 9 hours jet lag are a challenge

However, I will be back! All the staff is from many countries, leaving their families behind for a year or some to make income for their families

For example, they helped me operate my stove one night when I was baking cupcakes because I didn't find the instructions until after they helped me. I would also like to mention the gym trainers, Sumith and Airif

A wonderful hotel with great service from all members of staff. They are all attentive and always smiling. The pool is nice and relaxing and Selvaraj is always in hand to help with a generous smile

Best services and hospitality! The room was big with a large balcony and comfortable bed. We also took half board with delicious cuisine for breakfast and dinner. Justin took care of us! 🙏🏽 The pool was excellent

The restaurants are very good, the breakfast overwhelming, the staff is great and friendly and supercool. From the room cleaning to front desk, concierge or splash bar. They always make you feel welcome and at home

All you want for a nice holiday. Location wise, it sits in between Abu Dhabi city, airport and Yas Island. So everything was easily accessible. Thank you Marriott team, you made our stay pleasantly eventful
