The hotel itself doesn’t feel like a luxury hotel, our room was drab, dull and airless, despite being a luxury suite. The fridge was empty and the only drink available was warm water in plastic bottles. The breakfast was chaotic with not enough sitting space although the buffet was pretty good. The waiting staff looked harassed.
As expected the food and drinks were expensive, the wine especially so. A bottle of Spanish wine (which we know very well) was £70 but sells in Spain for under £5. I would like to mention Vignesh in the Hemingway bar and Presanna in the West Bay lounge for their excellent service.
A perfect blend of comfort and luxury - I would highly recommend this place.

Breakfast was quite stressful for me – the area was far too crowded and very noisy. It felt more like a low-quality holiday resort than a luxury hotel.
On the positive side, the proximity to the beach and the pool area are great. The hotel is ideal for families with children. However, for couples looking for a quiet and relaxed stay, it can be challenging.
The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were genuinely warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. My room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and a stunning view of the sea. Housekeeping did a great job ensuring everything stayed spotless throughout my stay.
The hotel facilities were impressive. The pool area is relaxing and well-designed, perfect for unwinding in the afternoon. The gym offers good equipment and plenty of space. I also tried the restaurants, and the food quality was excellent—especially the breakfast buffet, which had a wide variety of fresh options.
Overall, Radisson Blu exceeded my expectations. Whether for business or leisure, it’s an ideal place to stay in Abu Dhabi. I will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
We did have one small issue in the Westpol Lounge: a waiter sent us away due to a supposed minimum consumption, without checking that we were hotel guests. Later we learned that guests are allowed to sit there even just for a coffee. Luckily, a very kind lady at the entrance took great care of us and made the experience positive again.
Overall, we were very satisfied and would happily return.
The room feels warm and inviting, though the ceiling in the bathroom and entrance is a bit low. Guests who are quite tall might find the space slightly tight in those areas.
Dinner and breakfast were both amazing. La Terraza may offer fewer options compared to other buffet restaurants, but the quality of each dish truly stands out. I do wish there were more dessert selections during the dinner service.
Overall, a relaxing stay with excellent service and thoughtful touches throughout.
The staff all around the hotel were great and courteous. The resort is great but a bit far from the hotel and to walk in the sim is difficult, i think an overpass would be better and convenient. Ps the Zipline activity is never available when I have tried to book it the last year or so. Lazy river is really lazy so keep that in mind lol. Generally it's an okay resort could do with an update to trip.com advertising with new pictures etc.
